Gite van Gogh

Van Gogh is furnished around a spacious living room with a wood stove to enjoy a glass of wine during the colder days.

In addition, Van Gogh offers a fully equipped kitchen, a nice bathroom with shower and toilet and 2 separate bedrooms. Both bedrooms have a double bed (1x160 and 1x140 cm wide).

The new covered terrace will be ready in May 2025. Photos will follow afterwards. An impression of the atmosphere is available on request.

From the living room you reach a lovely partially covered sun terrace through French doors with an old oak tree as an extra shade spot. From this terrace you have a wide view and you can enjoy, in complete privacy, the peace and space around you. At the gîte van Gogh there is also a jacuzzi/spa waiting for you so that you can enjoy the setting sun or the beautiful view from the spa.

There is a swimming pool for general use. The diameter is 8 meters and 150 cm deep.

From Dozains you can visit the bastide towns in the area: including Monpazier, Villereal, Castillonnès, Monflaquin. But also the beautiful castles of Biron, Bonaquil and Duras are just a stone's throw away.

You can of course also make a larger tour to medieval towns such as Sarlat and Agen, and end it through the wine regions of Bergerac or Cahors.

From May to September there are various markets, parties and festivals to visit in the region. For example, in July and August there is a food market every Monday evening in Villereal and on Tuesday evening a "food market" in Eymet.

Every Sunday there is a nice market in Issigeac.

For the children there are various amusement parks in the area. including Walibi-parc in Agen, Survival-parc in La Capelle-Biron.

There are also 9-hole golf courses in Tombeboeuf +-20 km. 18 holes in Castelnaud -+19 km.

Horse riding in Lougratte, there is also a recreational lake --10 km.

There are various marked walks, varying from 5 to 20 km.

There are also routes for cycling. These can be downloaded from clycling in lot et Garonne (www.routeyou.com).

Canoeing is possible on the Lot, the Dordogne and the Vezere.
