Surroundings

Le Mas des Sages is well-situated in the heart of a charming Gallo-Roman village in Languedoc-Roussillon, in Occitanie, surrounded by vineyards and forest, at 8 km from Uzès and 25 km from Nîmes and Alès. This ancient mansion, built in the years 1700 and revisited over the centuries, has been renovated with care, to combine authenticity and comfort.

There are many hiking trails in the area and you can go for a walk or jump on your mountain bike directly from our house. The Gardon and Cèze offer water activities such as canoeing and via ferrata, and of course swimming. Between equestrian centers, manades, golf courses, wine cellars, good restaurants, the Pont du Gard, the market of Uzès, the Haribo sweet museum, the arenas of Nîmes and Arles, the Palais des Papes in Avignon, the fairs, the “fêtes votives”, festivals and so much more, there is more than enough to you for young and older.

When the weather is nice, which is often the case, you can enjoy the garden and sit outside, to chat or read for instance. Or swim and laze by the pool, open from May to October. And if you are a guest in our B&B, it is possible to have dinner in the evening, with a glass of good local wine, or to order a picnic basket for lunch.

We are looking forward to welcoming you !
