Within an hour you dan drive on the motorway to Monaco and the Italian Riviera.  The nearest beach town is Cagnes Sur Mer, with a large promenade, a cycling way to Nice, and a very cosy centre "Le Cros de Cagnes".   Beside is Saint Laurent du Var with a fancy pleasure harbour, which offers a large number of nice restaurants, pubs ....

The giant mall Cap 3000 is fantastic to visit, situated near the airport.  5 hours free parking.  The hinterland is fantastic, too much to describe. Saint Paul de Vence, Tourettes sur Loup, Gourdon ... are musts !  And not to forget : Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Juan Les Pins!
