The houses are all gîtes or “self-catering” houses, situated in the beautiful Périgord-Vert area.

Great fun because all kitchens are all fully equipped. In total we have 7 bedrooms with 7 bathrooms, 14 beds, 9 toilets.

The beautiful decor is a mix of modern, classic and antique. Completely in harmony with the environment.

La Mazilière:

This is the house in the middle with the high roof.

It was once built in 1728 as an extension of (what is now) La Dronne.

La Mazilière has been restored in an authentic way and is equipped with all comfort and luxury.

The beautiful old windows, the old oak floors and the characteristic staircase have remained unchanged.

Especially the tiled floor in the hall is special.

The tasteful furnishings, with beautiful decorations, colour schemes and stylish sanitary fittings give a luxurious feeling.

We have recently been rewarded with a Golden Zoover Award.

And finally: last year we were again certified with 4 * by Le Comité Départemental du Tourisme de la Dordogne (CDT/24). That is the highest possible qualification.

Interior

It is an 8-person house with 4 luxury bedrooms with a large living room (70m2) and open kitchen.

With a huge fireplace in the living room and central heating everywhere.

Large TV (Led) in the living room which you can control with your smartphone via Google Chrome Cast.

The house has a secure wireless internet.

In the living room a large open kitchen.

For security: of course smoke detectors, a CO2 detector in the hall, landing and all bedrooms.

And a fire blanket in the kitchen and a fire extinguisher and a CO2 detector in the living room and landing.

In that bathroom downstairs there is a modern washing machine and dryer.

Each room even has a safe and a kettle with cups to make your own tea or coffee.

There is also a special outdoor fireplace in the backyard and there is a private dining table outside.

And of course you also have access to the whole garden of 3 ha.

Ground floor

Just like the other houses, this house also has its own entrance.

Through the hall you enter the large living room of 70 m² with spacious sofas and armchairs.

Large TV (Led) in the living room which you can control with your smartphone via Google Chrome Cast.

The living room gives direct access to the front and back garden.

The furnishing is luxurious and intimate with a huge fireplace.

And in the living room is the very luxurious and complete open kitchen. And with fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, dry fryer, dishwasher and with beautiful crockery, cutlery and glassware.

The Nespresso machine is of course not lacking and there is even a milk foamer.

At the open kitchen there is a large dining table.

The first large bedroom (40m²) with 2 beds (2x90x210cm), optionally made up as a twin or 2 x single bed and with its own washbasin in the room.

This bedroom has its own bathroom (at 4 mtr) with washbasin, toilet and large shower.

In that bathroom is also the washing machine and dryer.

First floor

The centuries-old staircase leads to the first floor.

There are 3 luxury double bedrooms with their own theme.

All bedrooms have their own luxurious bathroom with washbasin, toilet and large shower.

All beds on the 1st floor are (2x90x200cm), optionally made up as a twin or 2 x single beds.

1 bedroom even has electrically operated beds.

In summary, holiday home La Mazilière is a beautiful location to celebrate the holiday with family or friends.
