Le Belvedere with own privat pool

The gîte has a beautiful view over the Lot Valley and situated in the countryside.. Surroundings mostly hills. Our luxurious Quercy gîte has recently been renovated and sits in one of the most beautiful parts of the Lot. You can feel that you’re in the country here.The terraces are equipped with garden chairs, deckchairs and tables. A barbecue and parasol are also available. The house gives you all the privacy you need; it is free standing on a  property of 8 000m2 of land and wood. There is also a very nice new private swimming pool 8×4 m  with a nice terrace . Around the swimming pool is a fence, which can be closed. It is only for you and your family. (Lots of privacy). You don’t have to share it with other rentals or the owner . From the swimming pool you also have very nice views over the Lot valley.

The large living has a comfortable settee, dining room table with wicker chairs and is equipped with a Flat screen television with Dolby surround, satellite receiver for receiving 200 channels and a DVD player. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and includes Refrigerator/freezer combination, a oven with hot air stream and grill, dishwasher etc. 

The first bedroom has two single beds 90 x 200, the second bedroom has a double bed 180 x 200 a large hanging wardrobe with shelves and also  

The third bedroom offers three sleeping places with a double bed 140 x 200 and a single bed 90 x 200, also this bedroom has a large hanging wardrobe with shelves. All the beds in the house have eiderdowns. There is a bathroom, wash basin with mirror-fronted cupboard and a full size bath. Further down the corridor there is a toilet.

600 kms south of Paris lies the unspoilt beautiful countryside of the QUERCY, Le Lot, Dordogne. Leisure opportunities abound. Peace and quiet. Natural and man-made lakes for boating and swimming. Signposted rambles and horse trails – all are to be found in this very attractive region.  

The department of the Lot is in the Quercy. This is a region bordering the Perigord to the north and the Auvergne to the east. South of the Quercy lies the Armagnac region.  

Our gîte is north of the river Lot in an area called ‘haute Quercy’ and boasts a great variety of landscapes and culture. The climate is influenced by the Atlantic, the Pyrenees and the Massif Central, which leads to warm summers and mild winters. The holiday season can last from the beginning of March to the end of October. Autumn is an especially lovely time of year.  

The valley of the Lot has both beautiful natural attractions and a lot of culture. It is one of the oldest inhabited areas in France. In 1999 prehistoric caves were discovered here.  

The region is teeming with bird life, and you can find thousands of different insects and flowers. If you look carefully you’ll find many different fossils.
