Mas Luis Alvarez

This charming authentic gîte, part of a former Mas (farmhouse) previously inhabited by artist Luis Alvarez, offers everything you need for a pleasant stay and is suitable for 2 to 4 people. The gîte is equipped with air conditioning for your comfort.

The 50 m² gîte features a studio with a comfortable double bed, a two-seater sofa, and a small table. A charming mezzanine on the upper level of the studio has two single beds. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, bidet, toilet, and sink. Adjacent to the studio space, you have your own well-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, 2-burner gas stove, coffee maker + Dolce Gusto, kettle, microwave, and more. Additionally, there is a second private toilet outside the studio space for extra convenience.

Enjoy the tranquility with two beautiful terraces at your disposal. The first terrace is private for guests and located at the front of the studio, while the second terrace, on the other side, opens onto a spacious shared garden (shared with the owners) and a cozy small pool. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.

Several supermarkets can be found in Uzès. In La Capelle et Masmolène, there is a bistro, and you can order or pick up organic bread just 200 meters from the gîte.

For outdoor enthusiasts, there is plenty to do! You can explore the picturesque countryside of the garrigue, the characteristic villages nearby, and the charming town of Uzès, 12 km away, with its numerous shops and restaurants. The famous Pont du Gard is just 20 km away. In Collias, you can rent kayaks. Above the village, in La Capelle et Masmolène, you can found rocks well-known to climbers for bouldering. There are numerous beautiful hiking and cycling routes, for example, around the Gorges du Gardon. If desired, you can rent three e-mountain bikes from us.
