POOL RULES (Shared Use with Owners)

❗ Strict Hygiene Regulations

We absolutely do not want any grease in our pool, so we kindly ask you to always shower before entering the pool.

The saltwater electrolysis system not only produces chlorine from the saltwater but also measures the redox potential to ensure a constant level of disinfectant.

This system must remain 100% free of fats to function perfectly and to prevent any pathogens from developing in the pool water.

For water quality, safety, and the proper functioning of the filtration system, the following clothing rules apply to all users (guests and owners):

Swimwear allowed in the water

Standard swimwear: swim trunks (snug fit), swimsuits, bikinis, monokinis, or nude.

Not allowed in the water (for hygiene reasons)

All loose, baggy, or long clothing: T-shirts, cotton clothing, streetwear, and (long) baggy swim shorts.

Headscarves (hijabs), caps, or other clothing worn outside the pool are strictly prohibited in the water.

Special Note

Clothing worn elsewhere (e.g., on the street, beach, or in the garden) introduces unacceptable amounts of fibers, sand, and dirt into the pool.

For these reasons, burkinis and other non-standard swimwear that cover the entire body are not permitted to ensure only specific, water-resistant swimwear does not contaminate the water.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in maintaining the hygiene of our shared pool.

*Glass objects in the pool area are strictly prohibited for obvious reasons.

Prayssas

In the village, you’ll find:

- Traiteur "L'Instant": Delicious prepared dishes, a delicatessen, a wine and beer cellar, and fine products to take away or enjoy on-site in summer on the terrace in the village square.

- Bar L'Estanquet, ideally located in the center of the village on the shaded square, is cozy, modern, and lively (with concerts, karaoke, etc.), offering local and artisanal products (beers, lemonade, Gascon cola).

- A crêperie, “LA BASTIDE ST LOUIS,” with internet access

- A medical center & pharmacy

- The bank "Crédit Agricole"

- A gas station

- A Renault garage & a multi-brand garage "Bouchou"

- An electric car charging station is available at "Parking 2" behind "La Halle au Chasselas" with the Tourist Info Center & Auditorium de Prayssas.

Parking 2 also offers shaded parking spaces under solar panels.

This parking lot also has containers for household waste, which are freely available to both residents and tourists.

9 km from us is "Domaine de Quissat," a producer of organic wines from southwestern France.

Prayssas is described as a "village de caractère."

Every Sunday morning, a farmers' market is held in Prayssas, where you can buy tender meat from the mobile butcher.

There are also stalls with seasonal fruits, vegetables, cheese, honey, and much more.

In autumn and winter, truffle markets are organized.

On these occasions, the municipality of Prayssas regularly offers free tastings, which both locals and tourists enjoy.

From early July to late August, evening markets are held in Prayssas and the surrounding villages, featuring a wide variety of local dishes.

You’ll be delighted by the lively music of various bands or DJs.

The following evening markets are particularly well-known:

- Monday: Saint Sardos (this picturesque hamlet is where the Hundred Years' War began)

- Tuesday: Damazan

- Wednesday: Prayssas – very friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and music

The surrounding landscape is wonderful for cyclists of all fitness levels, though there are no mountain passes, there are some challenging climbs.

Here you’ll find a wide variety of shops, restaurants, cafés, and bars, as well as a train station.

Regular trains run to destinations such as Bordeaux, Paris, and Toulouse.

The main weekly market days are Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Another major city, Villeneuve-sur-Lot, is 21 km away.

Prayssas is ideally located between these two major shopping cities and also between the two largest rivers, the "Lot" and the "Garonne," making it perfect for exploring the beautifully rolling countryside with its many views.

The old medieval town of Pujols, classified as one of the "Plus Beaux Villages de France," is 20 km away.

Perched on a limestone cliff over 180 meters high, it overlooks the valleys of the Lot and Mail.

The interior of Gîte Luma is modern, bright, and comfortably furnished with an eye for detail and quality. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment, and coffee maker, giving you the freedom to cook your own meals.

The gîte features one or two bedrooms, depending on the number of guests, each with comfortable double beds and including bed linen and towels. The bathroom is equipped with both a bath and a shower, as well as a washbasin.

Outside, you can enjoy a private terrace overlooking the garden and the surrounding hills. Additionally, there is an outdoor kitchen with a BBQ and plancha, ideal for long summer evenings outdoors. The fully fenced property also offers private parking and extra comfort during your stay.

The gîte is situated in the sunny hills of Lot-et-Garonne, a region known for its tranquility, nature, and authentic French charm. Numerous hiking, cycling, and mountain biking routes depart from the accommodation, offering stunning views of the landscape.
