This charentaise house in limestone, a former farm, is located in a very quiet hamlet of the municipality of Couture in the north of the Charente between Poitiers and Angoulême, approximately 750 km from Antwerp.
There is no light or air pollution here and in the evening you can observe thousands of stars.
An oasis where you can relax, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A piece of nature that lives to the rhythm of the seasons; taking long walks or rides by bicycle, mountain bike or motorcycle are the ideal environment for this.
The house has a beautiful view of the fields and forests and you can spot wild animals. Outside there is a large garden with an authentic bread oven and a bicycle shed.
There is ample parking for the car.
The garden is equipped with garden furniture and a parasol so you can enjoy dining outside in the summer. A BBQ is also at your disposal for a tasty meal and if it gets too hot you can cool off under the old lime tree or the swimming pool.
The house has an open kitchen with dishwasher, combination microwave, coffee maker, Senseo, gas stove, refrigerator with freezer, iron and vacuum cleaner. There is a cozy dining and living room with wood stove and a flat-screen TV, DVD and RADIO-CD player with Bluetooth.
Internet is also available.
There are 2 bedrooms (1 bed 1.60 m x 2.00 m, 1 bed 1.40 m x 2.00 m) and 1 mezzanine (1 bed 1.60 m x 2.00 m) and 2 bathrooms, 1 on the ground floor and 1 on the upper floor with sink, shower and toilet. Washing machine and dryer available.
The gite is located in Couture in the beautiful Charente with its rolling hills and forests where you can spot many wild animals.
From our garden you have a view of the forests and fields.
