A charming holiday home for 4 to 5 guests, quietly located within walking distance of the village centre of Cotignac. With air conditioning, a refreshing pool, and everything you need for a carefree stay. Sit back, take a deep breath, and enjoy the Provençal way of life. ?
Welcome to our home in Cotignac, in the heart of Provence.
A place where time slows down, days stretch out, and evenings are best spent outside — good food, good company, and a glass of wine close at hand.
You enter into the dining room, where a large, welcoming table invites you to linger over meals and good conversation. To the right is a cosy living room with a wood stove for winter and air conditioning for summer. To the left, you’ll find a charming kitchen with a spacious pantry — compact but fully equipped for anyone who loves to cook.
Upstairs, there are two spacious bedrooms with comfortable king-size beds and air conditioning. The smaller third room has a single bed and is ideal for a teenager. There’s no air conditioning there, but being at the back of the house, it stays pleasantly cool even on warm summer nights.
The main bathroom is spacious, with a bath-shower combination and a toilet. Downstairs, there’s a second toilet, and by the pool, an outdoor shower for a refreshing rinse after a swim.
In 2025, we completely redesigned the garden and added a swimming pool. It’s still young but already beautiful — with its local stone walls and Mediterranean charm. On the terrace, you can relax in the shade of the pergola or under the covered patio by the kitchen, perfect for long summer days and evenings under the stars.
You’re just a five-minute walk away from the centre of Cotignac — a delightful Provençal village named “un des plus beaux villages de la France” in 2023. And it truly deserves the title. It’s a joy to get lost in its narrow streets, have lunch under the ancient plane trees, or visit the lively Tuesday market full of local produce.
Nature lovers will feel right at home here. There are wonderful walks in and around Cotignac, and if you’re after a bit more adventure, the breathtaking Gorges du Verdon are just 35 minutes away — with dramatic cliffs, turquoise water and spectacular hiking trails. Head the other way for about an hour, and you’ll reach the Mediterranean Sea. Plenty of day-trip options! And if you enjoy cycling, the area is perfect — though a little leg training helps, the hills can be quite the workout.
