La Saucisserie Gites

Gite complex, large Maison du Maître and 3 gîtes located in the Périgord Vert, the green heart of the Dordogne.

Close to La Coquille and Thiviers and about an hour from Brantome and Périgueux and Limoges, we are ideally placed to discover all that the Dordogne has to offer.

Maison Du Maitre - This pretty and very spacious house (approx. 200m2) was once the original residence of La Saucisserie and is full of authentic features and architecture. It has been recently completely renovated and is equipped with all comforts, has 4 spacious bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 adults and 4 children. It has 3 double bedrooms for adults or children and a children's room for 4 people with two double bunk beds.

La Cour - This spacious (approx. 140m2) and attractive gite is a guest favourite and has recently been completely renovated. It has 3 large bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 adults and 4 children (6 adults) comfortably. You enter the living room through the large front door to your own courtyard. The high beamed ceilings and preserved original details give this holiday home a special ambience. The attractive living room has a comfortable sofa and chairs. On the left is a passageway to the spacious kitchen with dining area.

Gite d'Amis 1 - This pretty cottage is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. Through your own walled garden you come to the front door which gives direct access to the living room with dining area and the open kitchen. The living room has a comfortable sofa, TV and DVD player. The dining area has a dining area for 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, 4-burner gas hob and microwave.

Gite d'Amis 2 - This lovely gite is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. Through your own walled garden (approx. 200m2) you arrive at the front door which gives direct access to the living room with dining area and the open kitchen. The living room has a lounge area, TV and DVD player. The dining room has a dining area for 4 people and a fully equipped kitchen including a washing machine, dishwasher, 4-burner gas hob and microwave/oven.

For children there is plenty of space to run around freely with swings, a slide, a large in-ground trampoline, a play hut, sit on tractors, a table tennis table, a badminton net, table football, golf sets and for the little ones we have sandboxes and special mini swings. There are also sun loungers, picnic tables and seating in the poolside general garden for relaxing and/or chatting. We have also set up a petanque court for a fun game for the whole family.

The 5 acre (2.5 ha) site is located in a secluded rural area with plenty of space for the kids to "go on an adventure", but with peace of mind for parents.

Every holiday home in the Dordogne should have a swimming pool, which is why we have built a brand new beautiful 11 x 5 m swimming pool with a depth of 1.2 m to 1.50 m, which is located to enjoy the breathtaking views while relaxing in the sun. deckchairs. The pool is fenced and is only accessible by a safety gate, so young children cannot enter unsupervised. We also have paddling pools for the little ones.

Cycling and walking are popular in the area and there are many trails that run through the village. And if you want to explore the Perigord Vert, you'll find plenty of activities, from the local swimming lake to castles and go-karting.
