Villa L'Odyssée

At one of the most unique locations, from up the Cap of Les Issambres, Villa l’Odyssée offers a breathtaking panoramic sea view!

The house is built at height (80m) with a 220 degree sea view on the bay of St-Raphël on one side and the bay of St-Tropez on the other. The traditional architectural style with thick white walls keeps the villa cool during the summer, eliminating the need for air conditioning. All windows are equipped with a wrought iron grill which allows the house to ventilate well. The bright blue shutters bring out the azure color of the sea even more.

This traditional Provencal villa with a Greek accent can accommodate up to 10 people, in all comfort, and has a beautiful view from all areas of the house.

On the upper terrace you can have a nice meal underneath the pergola, while the children play a game of table tennis. Or you can enjoy the beautiful large swimming pool, of 14.5 by 5.5 meters with a water overflow, and surrounding sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols.

A quiet road with little going through traffic takes you to the villa in Les Issambres, part of Roquebrune sur Argens. The villa is hardly visible from the street, because it is situated somewhat lower.

Parking is available in front of the garage and on the street side. A few steps down lead to the upper terrace of the villa, which is approximately 100 m² in size. A double front door takes you into the hall where there is a separate guest toilet and a first bedroom with a double bed and adjoining bathroom. The bedrooms are all very spacious and airy and have plenty of closet space. The annex bathroom consists of a double sink, shower, bath and toilet.

Back in the hall you enter the beautiful open living space through a double glass door with ironwork. On the right side is the sitting area with 2 comfortable white sofas and TV corner. A central fireplace continues the tradition of the building style. On the left of the living space you find a round glass table, back in southern blue. The decoration fits perfectly with the house.

The closed fitted kitchen is opened to the living room through a wooden hatch. Even when cooking you have a beautiful view of the sea. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary household appliances, including a dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, coffee makers, toaster and other small kitchen utensils. In the back kitchen are the washing machine and dryer and the American fridge with freezer. There is a small breakfast corner in the kitchen for those who like to keep things simple.

A semicircular staircase takes us from the hall to a floor below where there are 3 more spacious bedrooms, all three opening onto the terrace of the swimming pool, each time with the beautiful sea view. The hall is given an extra touch by a large authentic wooden furniture. The room on the left has a double bed, desk and a built-in cupboard with sink. The middle room also has a double bed, this time consisting of 2 mattresses of 90 x 200 cm each. These two rooms share a bathroom with a single sink, shower and toilet. A 3rd bedroom has a double bed and a spare single bed and an adjoining bathroom with bath, shower, sink and toilet.

The house is located on a plot of 1200 m², consisting of 2 large terraces and the hillside. The upper terrace has a pergola with wrought iron table for 8 people. Here you can eat together, in connection with the living room and kitchen. An electric plancha is provided for outdoor cooking. A tennis table provides extra entertainment.

You reach the lower level by a beautiful outside staircase. The specially shaped pool is easily accessible with wide steps and a plage area, ideal for the children. The depth here is 60 cm. The larger pool goes from 1.60 m to 2.10 m in depth. The real swimmers among us will get their money’s worth here with a 12-meter-long deep pool. The overflow of the water is an extra. Around the pool there is room for the children to play or you to relax on the sun loungers. There is also a wooden dining table under the arches of the lower terrace.

You will certainly lack nothing here.

This spacious Provencal villa is located in Les Issambres, 500 meters from the coastline with its popular beaches. The distance can be covered on foot but is steep down. The 8 km coastline of Les Issambres is characterized by beautiful creeks and bays with regular bar and/or restaurant located between pine and palm trees. Calanque de Tardieu is the closest beach with beautiful azure water.

Les Issambres, located in the Gulf of St-Tropez, belongs to the municipality of Roquebrune-sur-Argens, a little further inland. It is only 23 km from the fashionable seaside resort of Saint Tropez and is more accessible (20 min.) via the ferry. Located between Saint-Maxime and Fréjus, we can assure you that there is plenty to do during the season. There are regular (night) markets that ensure a pleasant bustle. Saint-Raphaël, Port Grimaud, La Garde Frenet and Ramatuelle are also worth a visit.

For walkers there is the Les Petites Maures nature reserve in the area, with beautiful views of the Cote d’Azur with its beautiful blue color nuances. Sports enthusiasts can cycle in the forest in Roquebrune-Sur-Argens, go waterskiing, wakeboarding or kayaking at the local surf club.

And if you want to spoil the children a little extra, there are 2 large Aqualand parks in the area.
