Renovated to a high standard and tastefully decorated, Le Pigeonnier offers comfortable accommodation for up to six people, while retaining the character of the original stone building.
The large south-facing terrace is equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers and BBQ for outdoor dining and is adjacent to a grass area with trees.
The house is situated in an elevated position, on the edge of a hamlet on a hill between the vineyards and the beautiful countryside, and has a beautiful view over a valley to the village with restaurant, bar, shop and bakery (3 km). There are excellent restaurants nearby.
After inspection we received 3 Stars from Lot Tourisme (the highest for our type).
The Lot Valley is largely untouched and has so much to offer. Le Vert is the ideal, quiet location to enjoy a relaxing holiday in this beautiful area. Many nearby swimming areas near lakes or in the river.

3 bedrooms on the 1st floor: 1 suite with double bed and bathroom / shower, double room and bedroom with bunk beds in the tower that can accommodate two children or teenagers.
Separate bathroom and extra toilet.
Ground floor: living / dining room with beams, sitting room, fully fitted and well equipped kitchen.
We are in the heart of the Cahors wine country, just south of the river and close to the charming market towns of Prayssac, Montcuq and Puy l'Eveque. There is a daily local market nearby.
Only 20 km away is the old town of Cahors with its terraces along the Boulevard and boat trips on the river.
For tourists, there is the picturesque village of St Cirq Lapopie high above the River Lot, spectacular Rocamadour with its buildings clinging to the cliff, the huge caves of Padirac, the beautiful cave paintings of Pech-Merle, the river villages along the Lot and Dordogne and the bastide towns of Monflanquin, Monpazier and Villereal.
There are many beautiful local walks through or near Le Vert, canoeing on the Lot, bicycles can be hired locally and swimmers and children can enjoy lakes with sandy beaches in Montcuq, Catus and Montaigu de Quercy.
Our nearest airports are Bergerac (1 hour 20 minutes) and Toulouse (1 hour 45 minutes).
