The villa is suitable for 2 to a maximum of 8 people and is located on a very spacious plot of no less than approx. 1500 m2. There is a nice large lawn and the garden offers a lot of privacy due to the vegetation. Moreover, the villa is located directly on the banks of the Ardèche river with an unobstructed view of the river. A beautiful large terrace has been built at the back of the garden, which provides a view of the bank and the Ardèche river. A nice place to have breakfast, have a BBQ or have a drink.

Via a good staircase from the villa park itself, about 40 meters away from this holiday home, you can walk to the bank and the river in 2 minutes.

This holiday home "Oleander" is also very suitable for 2 families who want to go on holiday together. There are namely on the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and on the 1st floor there are also 2 bedrooms and a (2nd) bathroom. In addition, there is a separate (3rd) toilet on the ground floor. All bedrooms have air conditioning.

In the beautifully landscaped garden you will find many shrubs, but also colorful lavender and oleanders. You have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The nice and cozy town of Vallon Pont d'Arc is about 3 km from the quiet villa park. The village experiences a lot of tourism in the summer with pleasant crowds, full terraces and restaurants.

There are supermarkets about 2 to 4 km away (Lidl, Intermarché and Super U), as well as ATMs and petrol pumps. The bakery is 1 km away, but in high season a bread ordering service is also possible via the Reception. There is an (old) bicycle to cycle to the bakery.

Every day there is a morning or evening market somewhere in the area. In the information folder in your holiday home you can read where and on what day and it also contains many more tips about beautiful sights. In this area you can also visit beautiful historic caves with color and sound, a crocodile park, an adventure park (swinging on a rope from tree to tree, for example), beaches, medieval villages, gliding, playing jeu de boules, go-karting, horse riding, play tennis, you should definitely take the beautiful Gorges de l'Ardèche tour: along the eroded mountains you can see the river meandering in the depths with the ever-present sporty canoeists; In short: you will certainly not be bored here.

From the hall you reach the 2 bedrooms (including 1 master bedroom with 2 beds of 90 x 210 cm and patio doors to the backyard with swimming pool); bathroom with bath and shower, sink and toilet; 2nd bedroom with 2x beds of 80x200 cm. This bedroom also has French doors leading to the front garden. The bedrooms have air conditioning.

1st Floor: hall; 2 bedrooms with 2 beds of 80x200 cm each; a 2nd bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. A 3rd room on the top floor is closed for rental. Air conditioning is available in all these bedrooms.

From the hall you reach an indoor terrace with a beautiful view of the river and the surrounding area.

Service: All beds are made upon arrival for booked guests. We provide a complete linen package, which is mandatory due to hygiene regulations. In addition to made beds, you will receive 4 towels and washcloths per person; Furthermore, there are 2 bath mats, guest towels and 2 sets of kitchen linen upon arrival. It will save you a lot of bags in the car and a lot of laundry when you get home. The fee for this is €15 p.p.

In high season, you can order bread the day before at the RECEPTION, otherwise you can drive to the bakery just outside the villa park. An (old) ladies' bicycle is at your disposal for this purpose. There is an electric WEBER BBQ available; as well as various garden sets, parasols. The private swimming pool of 9.5 x 4.10 meters (from 0.80 to 2.00 meters deep) has a so-called Romanesque staircase, has lighting and is closed with an electric shutter. The water is heated from April 20 to September 28. There is a solar outdoor shower.

With its beautiful landscape and unique sights, the Ardèche is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations. Moreover, the weather is nice here 300 days a year! The south of the Ardèche, where Vallon Pont d'Arc is located, is Provençal, so sunny in climate.

There are limestone plateaus with green oaks, lavender and olive trees, caves and the rivers Beaume, Chassezac and Cèche. The rivers are suitable for every rowing pleasure, from calm water for beginners to extreme waterfalls for the daredevils.

Trips

There is a truly beautiful nature, which offers inexhaustible opportunities for many sporting activities such as hiking, canoeing, kayaking, canyoning, jumping and horse riding. But you can also swim, (fly) fish, cycle and mountain climb, go karting, visit various prehistoric caves, and... too much to mention.

In high season, the Reception offers, in collaboration with the park manager: bread ordering service, petanque tournament, crafts for the little ones, water polo, football tournament, children's disco, horse riding, canoe trips, wine tasting. Announcements about this can be found daily at Reception and will be sent to you by email during your stay.

There is a folder in the house with at least 100 tourist brochures. You will also receive an information brochure with all kinds of great tips about, among other things, the daily markets in the region, the opening hours of the various. supermarkets, restaurant tips etc.
