The gite is located in a small-scale holiday village with lots of privacy, surrounded by forests, hills and rivers. Thanks to its favorable location, La Glycine is an excellent base for walks, nature experiences, swimming in the river and discovery tours through the Ardèche.

La Glycine has a spacious living room with sitting area, wood stove and dining area. TV/DVD (including Dutch channels - Canal digital). The open kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartments, microwave and all necessary cooking utensils, including kettle, Senseo, mixer and also standard coffee machine. On the first floor there is a spacious bedroom with a double bed (160x200 cm). On the second floor there is an extra spacious bedroom with three single beds (90x200cm). All beds have single duvets, pillows and moltons.

Adjacent to the kitchen you have a tiled, partially covered terrace with garden furniture. The terrace is partly walled and has a lockable gate, ensuring optimal privacy. The Ardèche is a paradise for nature lovers. Around La Basse Maza you will find rivers, forests, hills and mountain peaks that invite you to walk, cycle and explore. The region is known for its tranquility, starry skies and authentic French villages.

In summer, the La Glueyre river is a popular place for swimming and cooling off. A short distance away you will find cozy markets, small restaurants and local producers of regional products. The area is perfect for those who enjoy active holidays in nature, combined with peace and relaxation.

We have set out 6 walks for you with departure and return at La Maza, varying in duration and difficulty from 1 to 4 hours. You will find this in a folder in the house. You can also visit the local tourist office (Syndicat Initiative) for several walking-cycling routes and excursions.
