This charming house with private pool for 13 persons is located in the beautiful countryside of the Lot and Garonne. The property has a big garden of 1.1 hectares and has an oasis of peace and space, surrounded by fields and woodland with stunning views over the beautiful countryside.
Price quoted is based on max 6ps until July and after August. Every extra person pays 75,- euros pp.

Maussac has its own entrance, a cosy living room with fireplace and large flat screen TV and dining area, the kitchen has all the comfort you need. There is a bathroom with two showers and a bath. In the shed is a washing machine, dryer and drying rack.
On the first floor are 5 bedrooms, one family room with a double bed and behind a low wall 2 single beds, this bedroom has airconditioning and its own bathroom (bath, shower, sink and toilet). The 2nd (also with airconditioning), and 3rd bedroom have a double bed and a cot. The 4th bedroom consists of 3 single beds and the 5th bedroom has two single beds. On this floor you also find an additional bathroom with bath, shower, sink and toilet.
Outside
Maussac is located on an area of 1.1 hectares surrounded by fields and woodland with stunning views over the beautiful countryside. Enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna; buzzards, falcons, owls, deer, polecats cross your path. In the large garden you also find an above private pool (9x4,5 m), a terrace with outdoor table and chairs, a large BBQ, loungers, parasols and a trampoline for the kids! There are also six bikes available.
In a gite on the grounds live the very friendly managing couple. In case of emergency or when you forgot your keys you can always contact them. The gîte is separate from the main house and has a private terrace and entrance, so you will not be disturbed during your stay. Mostly they are away during the day and they are very discrete.
You will find in this region picturesque villages and towns, with terraces in medieval market squares with ancient wooden market halls, such Villeréal the bastide of the 13th century, and Pujols, Castillones, Marmande and the capital Agen. In the area there are many opportunities for sports: hiking, horseback riding, water skiing, fishing, biking, several department stores and pharmacy, ... you will find in Miramont de Guyenne (10 km).
It was a quiet area, we were able to experience the silence again. You can immediately start a short walk nearby because in the area there is a grove and fields where you can walk through. The domain, the pool and the house were clean. The kitchen is very well equipped, also for hobby cooks. There are sharp knives, a toaster, oven, microwave, salad spinners, storage boxes, bread slicer, lots of cutlery and plates, ... you would not think it possible, in fact everything is there. The rooms in the house were spacious and pleasant. In the bedroom with 4 beds you have to bend down a bit to get to the bathroom, but that also makes it charming again.
We have been looking for downsides but actually found none. For some people it may be a bit annoying that you always have to take the car to eg. to go to a village or to take a long walk. There are bicycles available, which creates opportunities that we have not used.
Highly recommended and worth repeating
A great house where we had a great time with 3 families. Peace, space, freedom and fully equipped! Also thanks to the managers Ruud and Gerda for the good care and tips during our stay!

We were very well received by the caretakers of the house, the location is top, we feel totally disconnected, with the large garden, fields and forest around. Very well equipped house, the weather was not really with us during this week, but with a few games and activities, we felt good there. A big thank-you !
