Welcome to Sainte-Thérence at Henk and Marga's!

After seven years of successfully running a Chambres d'Hôtes and a camping site in Buxières les Mines (camping Le Boucher) it's time for another adventure.

Since October 18th, 2016 we live in this beautiful village, 12 km from Montluçon, region Bocage Bourbonnais Sud, in the department Allier, Auvergne.

Sainte-Thérence is a flowered village, un village fleuri, and has 200 inhabitants. Because it's a small village, the people are very involved and friendly. In and around the village are among   , a church and a castle ruin, which can be admired by walking the route of a lovely footpath.(4km)

Nearby are the Gorges du Haut-Cher, where you have a splendid view from the bridge.

Gite BO was recently renovated (November 2017) and has accommodations for two to four people.

The cosy gîte has a surface of 70 m2 and is situated next to our house. The gîte has partly retained its authentic features. On the ground floor you will find the living room with a TV, a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge with freezer, gas cooker, oven, coffee maker, kettle and toaster.

A staircase leads you to the second floor with two bedrooms. There are new boxspring beds (160cm x 200cm)

in both rooms. Furthermore, you have access to a large bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet.

You have access to the adjacent terrace - equipped with garden furniture, the large garden and the swimming pool.

Rates

High, middle or low season:

2 persons € 505/week - 7 nights

3 persons € 535/week - 7 nights

4 persons € 565/week - 7 nights

Bed linen, kitchen linen, electricity, gas, wifi and cleaning after your stay included.

You can make use of a washing machine (€ 7 per wash, washing powder included).

1 pet is  welcome, €2.50 pro day.

In winter, an additional cost will be charged for the use of the wood stove and electricity.

Time of arrival: Saturdays from 5 pm

Time of departure: before 10 am

Arrival on another day or longer stays are possible on request.

Sainte-Thérence has wonderful hiking tracks, these are well indicated next to the church in the village.

There is a nice track to Château de l'Ours - a hiking track surrounded by flora and fauna - and there's a path along theGorges du Haut Cher.
