The holiday home La Grande Ganiere is comfortably and cosily furnished. The holiday home is located on the flanks of France's most beautiful natural park, the Cevennes, and near the Ardeche.
The house is a great base for exploring the Cevennes and South Ardeche. The property is set in a secure enclosed garden with swimming pool on the edge of a small village.
The holiday home is suitable for a maximum of 10 people. You reach the living area via an outside staircase that leads to a spacious terrace. The garage is located under the living area. There is private parking for 3 cars.
At the front of the house is a large terrace with garden furniture including a lounge sofa and a long dining table under a pergola.
This terrace opens onto the garden with swimming pool. The garden is spacious and equipped with several comfortable sunbeds and chairs.

In the storage room you will find cushions for the garden furniture, games and also some tennis and badminton rackets that you can use.
There is a tennis court within walking distance of our gite.
The holiday home is located on the outside of the village of Gagnières and owes its name to the river La Ganière that flows near our house. The bakery and some restaurants can be reached on foot or by bike. A large supermarket can be reached within 10 minutes by car.
In the immediate vicinity are various museums, churches, castles and excavations to view. In addition, it is recommended to visit the cities of Nîmes, Uzès, Avignon and Orange, not only for the culture but also for the beautiful shops and nice markets. Near our house you can visit one of the most beautiful three caves in France La Grotte de Cocalière. The much-discussed Pont du Gard, which is on the World Heritage List, is also worth a visit.
It is a true paradise for those seeking tranquility, but also for those who aspire to an active holiday, there are various activities to undertake in the vicinity such as the adventure park Le Grand Bois, canoeing, paragliding, cycling and walking routes, etc.
The Gard has a wonderful Mediterranean climate with endless dry, warm and sunny summer days with a cool breeze. In spring and autumn the climate is pleasantly mild.
