Huize Hannen

Huize Hannen is a luxury villa near Goudargues, located in the Cèze Valley (Gard department) in France. Goudargues, also known as the "Venice of the Gard," is situated in a wonderfully peaceful setting on the banks of the Cèze River. The Mediterranean Sea is a 75-minute drive from Huize Hannen.

This large luxury villa features four spacious bedrooms plus sleeping accommodation in the log cabin, three bathrooms, and a swimming pool. Huize Hannen is very baby-friendly, with cribs, high chairs, a playpen, a stroller, and a secure swimming pool. During certain periods, discounts may apply for stays of fewer than 5 people (2 or fewer bedrooms). Please contact us for more information. Huize Hannen is not rented to (groups of) young people.

Huize Hannen can also be partially made wheelchair accessible.

Deposit: Deposit depends on the number of people.

Bed linen: €25 per person per rental period.

Cleaning: Final cleaning costs are: €125 per booking for stays of 1 to 4 people, €175 for stays of 5 to 9 people, and €235 for stays of 10 people or more.

Huize Hannen is luxuriously furnished and offers space for 10 to 12 people.

The living room is the heart of the house. With a generous dining table for 12, luxurious sofas, a fireplace, and a TV/DVD/satellite set, you are surrounded by every comfort and luxury.

The kitchen is spacious and also fully equipped. Cutlery, plates, glasses, etc.—everything is provided for a comfortable stay for up to 12 people. Every conceivable appliance is included: microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, built-in deep fryer, air fryer, cooker, and more!

Relax with a book or enjoy good company in the cozy living room or on the sunny terraces by the pool.

There are four spacious bedrooms, each with two box-spring beds that can be used as one double bed or two single beds. The garage also contains two fold-away beds. A separate log cabin, detached from the villa, has a bunk bed.

Additional single beds can be added.

There are three bathrooms in total. Each bathroom has at least two sinks and a shower.

Besides the four bedrooms, there is a separate log cabin within the fenced area, with another bunk bed and a single bed. The log cabin is ideal for, and popular with, older children.

The months of July and August are very sunny and bustling with holidaymakers. June and September usually offer pleasantly mild weather and fewer crowds. May and October offer more tranquility and surprisingly good weather compared to the Netherlands. Swimming is often possible then.

February and November are the months when nature displays its beautiful colors. Hiking, cycling, wine tasting, and more are the order of the day. The Cèze River is much higher than in summer, and a visit to the Gorges and cascades is a truly memorable experience and highly recommended.

The center of Goudargues is less than a kilometer away. The town is also known as the "Venice of the Gard." Visitors can relax in the shade of the ancient plane trees and wander through the peaceful alleyways.

Visitors can stroll or hunt for bargains at the flea market regularly held in the village square. The local products you can find at the craft markets, which usually open during Ascension weekend, are also a delight. Goudargues, of course, offers all your groceries, restaurants, terraces, a doctor, dentist, and banking/postal services. The regional tourist office (Maison de Val de Cèze) is located at the entrance to the village.
