Château de Lucy - Orangery

In Ribemont (Lucy), in Picardy, the Orangery of Château de Lucy offers tranquility and a place where you can unwind and de-stress. The Orangery is an ideal place to come to explore and sample a true tast of France. The Château is a charming historic building. It has a huge garden and is surrounded by a private wood of 3,5 ha. It is situated on the banks of the river L’Oise. 

Built on a Roman archeological site, the Château has had a turbulent past. It was occupied by Crown Prince Wilhelm in WW1 and by German officers in WW2.

The private entrance is five stone steps from the front terrace and a huge garden with barbecue. Free parking and wifi are available.

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, oven, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, fridge and dishwasher. The bathroom has a toilet, shower and sink. A hairdryer is at disposal. Towels are included. 

In the middle between Reims and Louvre Lens and with a direct line from Saint-Quentin railway station to Paris, it offers the possibility to do day excursions and come back to the quiet and calm of a beautiful residence and green area. The city of Amiens, with its beautiful cathedral, is also a perfect destination.

Activities in the neighborhood include golf, fishing, kayaking and biking.

Saint-Quentin is only 14 km away. There you find shops and restaurants. In the village of Ribemont, where the Château is situated, you find bakeries, a bank, a post office and pizzerias. There is also a supermarket with a large choice at less than 1 km.
