This beautiful restored villa with private swimming pool is suitable for six to eight people and offers a total of three bedrooms, one bathroom andinternet access.

Coup de Coeur is beautifully situated in a dead end street in the village of Marseillette, near the historical city of Carcassonne. This holiday home has a garden where you can enjoy the sun and the shade.

Inside Villa Coup de Coeur

This beautiful "chai" (winery) was recently restored by the former occupant, whom himself was contractor. The best materials are used. The villa has many characteristic features such as high ceilings, beams, a wall with the old typical French stone, a stove, a large cooker of Rosières in which you can bake your own bread, terracotta stone floor and even more ...

The living space (70 m ²) has an open kitchen, including kitchen unit with bar stools; a cosy salon with a new large television set including DVD player. A large wooden dining table completes the setting. The house is decorated in country style.

From the living room there is a staircase where you enter a mezzanine. This space was recently closed with a little wall so it’s safe. There is free Wi-Fi Internet access (router).

Coup de Coeur has three full bedrooms, one with double bed of 180 x 200 cm, one with double bed of 160 x 200 cm and one bedroom with 2 bunk beds. The two largest rooms have built-in wardrobes. In addition to these bedrooms there is also a bathroom with a bathtub/shower and sink. There is also a separate toilet. A baby cot and a baby chair are standard available in this villa.

Outside Villa Coup de Coeur

Outside there is a terrace with pergola and a stone barbecue. The garden has beautiful Mediterranean plants such as an olive tree and fresh herbs. The private pool is centrally located in the garden opposite the villa and has a size of 8 x 4 metres . The swimmingpool with walk-in steps, has a rectangular shape including a little table and a place to lie down. The roof of the pool can be opened (this for safety and warmth). Around the pool there is a beautiful terrace for the sun loungers. From the terrace and the swimming pool you can view the Almariques mountains and the Montagnes Noires.

Environment Villa Coup de Coeur

The holiday home is located in the middle of the French village Marseillette. In this village, which is located at a 15 minutes’ drive from Carcassonne and a 25 minutes’ drive from Narbonne, flows the Aude and the Canal du Midi (on a 5 minutes’ walk from the property). This village is located in the heart of the vineyards the Corbières where you will find of course various wineries. About a 9 minutes’ drive away is the village of Trèbes where two large supermarkets, such as Super U and Intermarché are located. You can rent a boat in Trèbes at “Le Boat” to sail over the Canal du Midi. In Marseillette there is also a boat quay along the Canal du Midi.

At the end of the street where the villa is located, is the local bakery/food shop. In front of this bakery there is a cosy café where one can purchase a daily newspaper and also enjoy a light lunch (good service and good food).
