Last minute proposal, available from July 22 onwards !! Nice 2-person apartment, in the heart of the center and yet reasonably quiet, 4 minutes walk from the central train station, 6 minutes from the Place de la Comédie, 4 minutes from the essential tram stations for the whole city and 6 minutes from the "Ecusson" and the bustling city center. The ideal place for a visit to the city as well as for sights and cities (a few absolute "musts"!) in the area, where every Dutch person generally wants to spend the day, whether it be nature, old towns, sea, gardens or rivers. Rental per week (390 €/week , of 750 € for 2 weeks and 40 € cleaning costs, unless you leave the appartment as clean as you found it upon arrival) !
The apartment has a spacious antrée, a fully restored sitting room (TV, automatic shutters) with a separate kitchen fully equipped and coffee to your liking, both opening onto the "morning terrace".
In addition, one bedroom with a 2nd terrace for the sunset, very good bed, renovated bathroom with shower/bath, a washing machine and a separate toilet.
Montpellier is always bustling but especially in the summer, a wonderfully beautiful old town with narrow streets, restaurants and cafes everywhere, theaters, daily musical entertainment and markets, fifteen minutes from the sea (Palavas - dirt cheap with tram, possibly bus). Cycling along the sea to the Lez for cyclists (rental everywhere) is unique. But EVERYTHING is close by with trams, bicycle (rental) car or train (all this a 5-minute walk from the apartment / Nimes with its famous "arenes", la Grande Motte, the picturesque Grau-du-Roi, the medieval town of Aigues -Mortes, the Camargue, the Cévennes with several "gorges", cycle routes along the canal de midi, le "Pont-du-diable", le Pic Saint-Loup, and a little further the Pont-du-Gard and the Parc du Haut - Languedoc.
Fifteen minutes by bike from the bus station where the bike can be taken, as well as with TER trains (3 minutes by bike) for beautiful trips back to the city.
Montpellier does not like cars, which can be parked for free or cheaply on the outskirts of the city (special tram-car parking spaces with a direct connection to the city).
