Villa Le Rêve is an attractive and spacious holiday home for up to 17 people in Lachau, in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Drôme Provençale in southern France. With approximately 320 m² of living space, 8 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, several living areas and a large fully enclosed garden, the villa is particularly suitable for large families, groups of friends, cycling and walking groups and other groups that want to spend a holiday together without sacrificing space and comfort.  

The holiday home is located at an altitude of approximately 700 meters in a quiet, rural valley, surrounded by mountains, deciduous trees and Provencal nature. The house spreads the atmosphere of Provence with the rougher landscapes of the discovered Alps. From various rooms and outdoor areas you can enjoy beautiful views of the hills and mountains.

Outside, the large natural garden is one of the greatest assets of Villa Le Rêve. There is a private pool, hot tub and plenty of space to eat, relax and play together. There are several terraces and seating areas spread across the site in the sun and shade. In addition, there is a pizza oven, plancha, barbecues, trampoline, swings, bicycles, a playing field and a play forest for children. There is even a quiet stream running along the site where children can play and build dams.  

The swimming pool is separated from the rest of the garden, which is extra pleasant for families with young children. Thanks to the fully enclosed garden, children can play outside to the fullest.

Villa Le Rêve is also particularly interesting for those who enjoy cooking together and dining extensively. There are various options for this both indoors and outdoors. The large kitchen is equipped to comfortably cook for larger groups.

The location also makes the holiday home interesting for an active holiday in the Drôme Provençale. Hikers and cyclists can discover routes from the beautiful surroundings. Mont Ventoux is approximately 35 kilometers away, the famous climbing area around Orpierre is approximately 22 kilometers away and paragliding is also possible in the area.  

Those who prefer to cool off in nature can discover the impressive Gorges de la Méouge, with clear blue water, rock formations and natural swimming spots.

Villa Le Rêve is much more than just a large holiday home with a swimming pool: it is a holiday spot where families and friends can cook, eat, swim and relax together, while the nature and activities of the Drôme Provençale are immediately within reach.

Villa Le Rêve has approximately 320 m² of living space, spread over several floors. With various living and sitting areas, 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, the house offers enough space and privacy for a group of up to 17 people.  

There is a spacious kitchen in the center of the house, which is fully equipped to cook for large groups. The kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a large stove, ovens, an American fridge-freezer, an extra refrigerator, two dishwashers, filter coffee maker, Nespresso machine, kettle and a large amount of kitchen equipment. Several people can cook at the same time around the spacious worktop.  

In addition to the group room, the villa has more different living areas, so that a large group does not have to stay in the same room all the time. There are cozy seating areas and large tables to eat together, play a game or enjoy quietly.

The sleeping accommodations are spread over 8 bedrooms. Most bedrooms have comfortable twin beds measuring 90 x 200 cm and their own sink. Two rooms have a double bed of 160 x 200 cm.  

On the first floor there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has its own shower and sink.

On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms with their own sink.Dthe mezzanine has an open connection with a living room and offers 4 sleeping places. The bathrooms are distributed throughout the house and, depending on the space, have a shower or bath, sink and toilet. There are also two washing machines.  

This layout makes Villa Le Rêve suitable for families with children as well as groups of friends and other large groups. People can live and eat together, while there is also enough space to retreat.

Outside the traditional holiday periods, the accommodation is also used for cycling groups, walking groups, painting groups, workshops, training sessions and retreats.  

Holiday in Lachau and the Drôme Provençale – nature, Mont Ventoux, walking and cycling.

Villa Le Rêve is located near the small medieval village of Lachau, in a quiet valley in the south of the Drôme. The area is part of the regional nature reserve of the Baronnies Provençales, where the landscapes of Provence and the foothills of the Alps merge.  

Here you will find mountains and valleys, lavender fields, forests, olive groves, rivers and small Provencal villages. The relatively high location of Villa Le Rêve, at approximately 700 meters, ensures that the nights are usually pleasantly cool, even during hot summers.  

Lachau itself is a small and authentic village with a long history. You will find a castle and the historic church of Notre-Dame-de-Calma there. On Saturday mornings there is a small market with regional products and a local bistro. There is a playground and sports field on the edge of the village.  

For daily shopping you can go to Séderon, about 9 kilometers away. Here there is a bakery, supermarket and other facilities. For more extensive shopping, options include Laragne-Montéglin and Montbrun-les-Bains.  

The Gorges de la Méouge is an absolute must for nature lovers. The river meanders between impressive rock formations and forms natural pools of clear water in various places. The area is ideal for walking, picnicking and swimming in nature.  

Hikers can also go in all directions from Lachau. There are numerous hiking trails through the mountains and valleys, for example towards the Tour du Riable or nearby Éourres.

Villa Le Rêve is particularly interesting for cyclists and sporty cyclists. The surrounding area is quiet and offers numerous challenging routes and climbs. The famous Mont Ventoux is approximately 35 kilometers away and is of course an attractive challenge for cycling enthusiasts. The holiday home also has space to store and clean bicycles.  

Climbers can head to Orpierre, approximately 22 kilometers away, an internationally renowned rock climbing destination. Paragliding is also possible in the region.  

If you want to spend a day swimming or doing water sports, in addition to the natural swimming spots in the Gorges de la Méouge, you can also go to Plan d'eau du Riou, about 35 kilometers away. There are beaches and opportunities for swimming and water sports, among other things.  

Lovers of Provence will also get their money's worth here. In the summer the lavender fields turn purple and the villages host Provencal markets, brocantes, village festivals, music activities and wine festivals. There are also several wine estates towards Mont Ventoux where local wines can be tasted.  

Places such as Montbrun-les-Bains, Séderon, Orpierre and Laragne are ideal for excursions. Montbrun-les-Bains is known for its medieval character and thermal baths.  

The surroundings of Villa Le Rêve are therefore particularly versatile: peace and nature for those who want to relax, challenging routes for cyclists and walkers, play and swimming facilities for families and plenty of Provencal villages, markets and regional products for those who want to discover local French life.
