à la Frontiere du Paradis

"à la Frontière du Paradis" alias "ut Huuske", is largely in its original state, with beamed ceiling and tiled floor. This gîte is the last house in the hamlet of Champrobert. Idyllically situated on a meadow where deer can come out of the forest in the evening. Large private grounds with south-facing terrace.

Also a paradise for dogs, from the gîte you can directly access the rural route, and the yard is completely fenced with sheep wire.  

Smoking is not allowed in the house. The gîte is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

The attractive living room has a (open) fireplace, a dining area with four chairs and a comfortable seating area consisting of a sofa, an armchair, an ottoman and a wicker chair. There is a well-stocked china cupboard and a cupboard full of games and Dutch books. There is a music system on which, in addition to radio stations and a CD player, you can play your own music files via Bluetooth or USB, your iPod, iPad or telephone. There is a satellite TV with all Dutch channels and there is free WIFI. A high chair can also be provided upon request.

The kitchen is fully equipped. A four-burner induction hob, a fridge-freezer combination, microwave-combi oven, hand blender, kettle, filter coffee maker, Senseo and Dolce Gusto machine are available in the kitchen, as well as sufficient pots, pans and cutlery. You will also find a second wood-burning stove in the kitchen.

In the bathroom you will find a toilet, rain shower, sink, towel radiator and a washing machine. There is also a tub that can serve as a baby bath.

On the bedroom floor you will find two bedrooms, the first bedroom with 2 single beds of 90 x 200 cm. with molton, pillows and duvets. Can be pushed together if desired. The second bedroom has one large double box-spring bed of 180 x 200 cm, with an extra top mattress, a molton, pillows and a duvet. On the landing behind a curtain there is a wooden trunk with extra blankets/duvets and pillows. Here you can also find an ironing board and iron.

Outside on the terrace you have a permanent round table with 4 chairs, a loose round table with 2 comfortable garden chairs and 2 lovely sun loungers. A BBQ is also available.

"The Morvan". This green, mountainous area where you can still find truly unspoilt nature is not only ideal for walks, bike rides or mountain biking or canoeing, you can also find historical heritage here such as the city of Vézelay, the abbey of Fontenay and Bibracte and countless castles. Here you go back in time, so there is plenty to do and experience. You should also definitely not miss Château-Chinon and Autun. Would you rather relax at a beautiful swimming lake? Then visit Lac des Settons or Lac de Panneciere. In short, you will not easily get bored here, there is plenty to do in the Morvan!

You will also find numerous nice sights outside the Morvan, and it is recommended to visit the cities such as Nevers and Chalon sur Saone.
