Tastefully renovated (smoke-free) house near the Bay of Somme, located in the village of Bois de Cise, founded around 1875. Situated on the border of Normandy and Picardy.
What makes this house special is its location in a forest by the sea.
Imposing white chalk cliffs define the coastline.
The village is part of a designated walking route, has low-traffic, and offers many hiking trails. At high tide, you can swim in Bois de Cise itself; otherwise, there are beaches in Ault and Mers-les-Bains, just 4 minutes from Bois de Cise.
It's a family home with personal touches such as ceramic artwork and paintings.
The living room features an open-plan kitchen, a wood-burning stove, and underfloor heating.
Adjacent to this is a spacious utility room with a second kitchen unit, a washer/dryer, oven, and pantry cupboards.
The ground floor is approximately 35/40m².
The living room opens onto a balcony spanning the entire width of the house, measuring 6 by 3 meters. There is also a small terrace at the side of the house and at the front.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed measuring 1.60 by 2.00 meters.
Bedroom 2 has two single beds (one of which is a loft bed) and a cot.
Bedroom 3 has two single beds placed together, measuring 1.60 by 2.00 meters.
Near the beautiful Bay of the Somme, where at low tide you can sometimes see seals warming themselves in the sun. A beautiful cycling route runs around this bay. You can depart from Bois de Cise to the bay, where new cycle paths have been created.
In St. Valery, Joan of Arc was imprisoned, and on the other side of the bay lies Crotoy, with a sandy beach at low tide.
The neighboring village of Mers-les-Bain exudes Art Nouveau with its beautiful balconies, and Tréport boasts an abundance of delightful restaurants and a harbor where you can watch the fishing boats leave at high tide. From here, you can also take a boat trip along the coast.
Everything is just a few kilometers away, including the bakery, butcher, and large Auchan supermarket. Dieppe is, of course, a well-known and beautiful town with a beautiful harbor, only 35 kilometers away.
Even a day trip to Paris is possible, there is a direct connection from Noyelles sur Mer to Paris Gare du Nord (2 hours by train).
