If you want the atmosphere of authentic France, as it was in the romantic old films, you should definitely visit the holiday home "La bastide des Roses", located in the Ariège, a pure, beautiful natural region with centuries-old villages, bustling rivers, waterfalls and mountains, located at the foot of the Pyrenees. The house is located in the village of La Bastide sur L'Hers where you can enjoy a nice walk under the plane trees next to the trout river, the L'Hers. During the summer months, vibrant village festivals take place here every Thursday evening, with good food, dancing and music.
The holiday home is a seventeenth century village house with a lot of charm and a nostalgic atmosphere. a perfect balance was found between new and authentic interior elements; Take a dip in the large, communal saltwater swimming pool (to be shared with 3 other families), enjoy the cozy (private) garden, with centuries-old trees and English roses, or drink a glass of wine on one of the terraces. The bedrooms each have their own terrace. The house is also ideal for two families, because each has its own living room, TV and kitchen, so the necessary privacy to retreat for a while. There is a fantastic cycle path 100 m from the house, in the former bed of a railway line. You can cycle for hours on it, you pass cute villages, you sometimes dive into tunnels (where lights automatically switch on), you pass Lake Montbel, and you also have a direct connection to malt bike routes. There are two mountain bikes at your disposal in the house. You can also rent bicycles in the immediate vicinity.
This house is also a refuge for the fishermen among us: the river L'Hers, 200 m away, is very rich in fish, fly fishing is practiced, Lake Montbel is 4 km away, and I can also tell you a secret place. reveal: a river through a rock gorge that is breathtakingly beautiful!
