Lo Nosilhon is a spacious 85 m² gîte, located on the ground floor of an authentic Aveyronnais barn, suitable for two to five guests. The holiday home features a large private terrace where you can relax and enjoy the outdoors and the views in complete peace. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and modern bathroom facilities. It’s the perfect place to unwind, read, dine outdoors, and enjoy the freedom of the French countryside. Of course, free WiFi is available.
The gîte features a cozy living area with a wood-burning stove, a large dining table that can also be used as a workspace, and a play corner for children. A unique detail is the old feeding trough from the barn, now repurposed as firewood storage, a bookshelf, and additional surface space. Free WiFi is provided via a high-speed 2 Gbit/s fiber connection.
Through the French doors, you can access the private garden and terrace, equipped with a dining table, sun loungers, and a barbecue. Aromatic herbs grow around the terrace, ready to use in your cooking. Guests also have access to the heated swimming pool, shared with us and other guests.
The gîte has two bedrooms: one with a double bed (1.60 x 2.00 m) and one with a bunk bed plus an additional single bed. The spacious bathroom features a walk-in shower, and there is a separate second toilet. All beds are made with duvets, with alternative bedding provided for guests with allergies.
The open kitchen is fully equipped with a five-burner gas stove, convection oven, dishwasher, quality knives, and plenty of tableware and cutlery for five people. An espresso machine (Nescafé Dolce Gusto) is also available. Heating is provided by the wood-burning stove, with electric radiators in the bedrooms and bathroom.
Bed, bath, and kitchen linen are included, and the beds are made upon arrival. For longer stays, bedding is refreshed weekly. Bath and kitchen linen will be changed every 3 to 4 days. Beach towels foor the swimming pool are not included.

Puech de Cabanelles is located in the heart of the Carmausin-Ségala, close to the famous Grands Sites d’Occitanie: Albi, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Najac, and Rodez. This diverse region is a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Lace up your hiking boots and explore the wild valleys of the Viaur, the vast plateaus, or the picturesque vineyards of Gaillac. Cyclists and mountain bikers will find numerous routes winding through forests, fields, and historic villages (be prepared for plenty of climbs!).
Beyond outdoor adventures, the area is rich in culture and heritage. Stroll through medieval streets, visit museums, and discover the history of the Albigensian Crusade, The Cathars and the painter Toulouse-Lautrec, who was born just a stone’s throw away. Food lovers will also be delighted: taste local cheeses, enjoy Gaillac wines, and sample other delicious regional specialties.
