On the ground floor you'll have a well equiped kitchen at your disposel, a cosy living room and a bathroom with shower "à l'Italienne".
All the bedrooms contain large double beds. They are made with exquisite linen in natural tones.
Vineyards appear everywhere here in this region that straddles the Charente-Maritime and the northern Bordeaux wine region, le Bordelais. A ferry can take you across the Gironde to the Médoc where you can visit the great chateaux that produce "les meilleurs grands crus du monde", with legendary names such as Margaux, Saint-Julien, Saint-Estèphe, Pauillac. When back on our side of the estuary your vacation will feel like a sweet dream as you visit the fine sand beaches of Saint-Georges de-Didonne, Royan, Vaux Sur Mer, from the gîte only 45km drive by car.
