EXTERIOR

The garden of Villa Les Sarrins is designed as a true Provençal paradise. It features numerous cypresses, oleanders, ancient olive trees, and beautiful flowering plants. There's a large outdoor dining table under a wisteria-covered pergola. By the pool is a covered outdoor kitchen with a dining table, refrigerator, fireplace, and sink. French doors open from the living room, leading to a lovely lounge area in front of it, perfect for enjoying drinks and enjoying a beautiful view of the vineyards.

There's a lovely heated swimming pool with wide steps, and two gates leading to the pool are secured by a beautiful wrought-iron fence, preventing direct access for children. The pool is not fully fenced, however, as there is no fence between the shrubs. There's also an outdoor shower by the pool, as well as plenty of sunbeds and parasols.

The 7,000m² garden is beautifully landscaped and enclosed by an electric gate. The gate leads to the house via a long driveway. There's ample space for children to play. There is ample parking for four cars. There is also a pétanque court at the property. The property offers plenty of privacy and tranquility, with no neighbors overlooking it. There is no through traffic, as the property is the second-to-last on this road.

INTERIOR

Villa les Sarrins is a lovely, spacious villa for six people, tastefully decorated. It is highly recommended for those who appreciate a romantic, classic atmosphere! You enter the house through the living room, which leads to the dining room with an open-plan kitchen. The living room features a sitting area with a fireplace. Wi-Fi is available, as well as a TV with Dutch channels, a DVD player, and a radio/CD player. Large French doors open onto the covered terrace with stunning views over the valley and vineyards of the nearby Chateau les Sarrins and the property's garden.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a 5-burner gas stove, microwave, oven, dishwasher, American-style refrigerator with ice maker, freezer, and Nespresso coffee maker. Next to the kitchen is a cozy dining room with a dining table and French doors leading to the patio behind the house. Outside, there's another large dining table for eight people and a gas barbecue. The pool house also has an extra refrigerator, sink, and fireplace.

On the living room level, there's a large double bedroom with a beautiful view of the garden. This bedroom is equipped with air conditioning. There's also a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, separate shower, sink, and toilet.

On the -1 level, there are two more double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. These bedrooms also have French doors leading to the garden. These two bedrooms are naturally cool and equipped with fans. Because the house has thick walls, it often stays pleasantly cool in the summer. All three bedrooms have good-quality beds and mattresses.

The center of St. Antonin is a 20-minute walk away and boasts charming terraces, a delicious restaurant, Lou Cigalou, a small supermarket, a bakery/patisserie, a hairdresser, and the local wine cellar. For larger groceries and a visit to the many terraces and restaurants, you can visit the village of Lorgues, about 5 km from the property.

ACTIVITIES

The property is ideally situated for a wide range of activities, such as kayaking in the Argens River (10 minutes), cycling/mountain biking, and hiking through the nearby vineyards. You can enjoy golf (three courses nearby), tennis, and horseback riding. The natural beauty of the Gorges du Verdon, ideal for rock climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, pedal boating, and more, is about 35 minutes away. The beach and sea are reachable within 45 minutes.

RESTAURANTS, FOOD & WINE

There are many Provençal bistros and restaurants in the immediate area. A special attraction is Restaurant Bruno in Lorgues, commonly known as "The Truffle King." You can enjoy a glass of rosé in a medieval setting, sitting on an attractive terrace under the plane trees. The area is also characterized by many old wine chateaux, where you can taste and buy wine. The Tuesday morning market in Lorgues is a must. The wine chateaux Les Sarrins is just a 2-minute walk away, offering delicious wines, and the cooperative winery in the town center is a 5-minute walk away.
