Maison Jacques is a comfortable large house (180 m2) located on a natural site of 4000 meters, approximately 600 meters from the Provencal village of La Verdière in Provence. You can walk to the bakery in 10 minutes.

The house has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and is rented to a maximum of 8 people.

Your own (heated) private swimming pool, underfloor cooling, the olive trees and the beautiful view make this house a wonderful holiday spot.

Ground floor :

A spacious attractive living/dining room with fully equipped open kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a washing machine, an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, an American refrigerator, an ice maker and a Nespresso coffee maker.

1 bedroom with a double bed of 1.80 wide, a dressing, a sink, shower and separate toilet. French doors to the terrace.

1 bedroom with a double bed of 1.60 wide, a shower, sink and toilet. This room is suitable for someone in a wheelchair. Toilet and shower have been adapted for this.

First floor :

1 bedroom with a double bed of 1.80 wide plus shower and sink.

1 bedroom with a double bed of 1.60 wide and shower plus sink.

1 bedroom with a double bed of 1.60 wide, and shower and sink. This bedroom has a small balcony.

The swimming pool measures 8 x 4 m and is 1.30 m deep throughout. It is heated to about 26 degrees.

La Verdière is located 45 km from the city of Aix en Provence and 50 km from the famous Gorges du Verdon and the Lac de Sainte Croix.

In the village of La Verdière you will find a bakery, a butcher, 2 cafes, a takeaway pizza and a small supermarket. A larger supermarket can be found in Vinon sur Verdon and in Régusse (20 minutes' drive).

Nearby are the beautiful mountain massifs of Sainte Baume and Sainte Victoire. The highlights of Provence and the French Riviera: Saint Tropez, Cassis or the Luberon are easily accessible for a day trip. The famous Gorges du Verdon (there are beautiful walking and climbing routes for sporty hikers and climbers) and the beautiful Lac de Sainte Croix are about a 45-minute drive from the house. Water sports options at the lake include surfing, sailing, catamaran sailing, canoeing and pedal boating. Also small nice beaches.

The area is hilly with olive trees and vineyards. An ideal holiday destination with nice dining options (for example in Ginasservis, Aups or Cotignac), beautiful golf courses (Golf de Barbaroux and Golf de Sainte Baume) and hiking trails.

Furthermore, there are pleasant markets in the area in Aups, Villecroze, Salernes and Cotignac.
