LA RIMADELLE, Villa in the Provence with swimmingpool

Our holiday home is located in the dreamy Provencal village of Le Thoronet, with its own garden and a large swimming pool with lots of privacy.

The house is located about 45 km west of Fréjus and 40 km north of the famous seaside resorts of St. Maxime and St. Tropez.

The pool is 10 x 5 meters in size and has a depth of 85cm to almost 2 meters. It is purified by salt electrolysis. The pool also has lighting so that you can swim in the evening. An outdoor shower is available.

From the south-facing terrace you have an unobstructed view of the beautiful hilly landscape. The garden is approximately 1,600 m2 and is surrounded by pine hedges and oleanders, which provide a lot of privacy. There is enough space to park the car(s). The site is closed off with a high (automatic) gate.

Living room

The holiday home has a cozy living room with air conditioning and patio doors to the terrace/pool.

The living room is homely and comfortably furnished. It stays nice and cool in the hot summer and has a television with Dutch channels. Of course, WiFi is also available (at no extra cost).

kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with: an oven, ceramic hob, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, microwave and dishwasher, etc. An ironing board / iron can be found in the pantry. The washing machine is ready, the washing lines are in the backyard and the almost ever-present sun does the rest.

Bathroom

The already modernized bathroom is very comfortable and equipped with a spacious walk-in shower and a sink. There is another separate room, a so-called "salle d'eau", where you will also find a fixed washbasin.

Bedrooms

In total there are four tastefully decorated bedrooms, each with a double bed.

The master bedroom (ground floor) has a bed size of 160 x 200cm. There are patio doors overlooking the pool. This bedroom has air conditioning.

The salmon room (ground floor) has two mattresses, each 90 x 200cm. There is also a desk.

The blue room (floor) has a bed size of 180 x 200cm. This room also has air conditioning.

Pink room (floor) has a bed size of 140 x 200cm.

Le Thoronet is best known for the Cistercian monastery l'Abbaye du Thoronet, built in Romanesque style (12th century), world famous for its absolutely unique acoustics.

Le Verdon, the caves and the lake, the lakes Sainte Croix and Quinson with prehistoric museum.

The lakes of Saint Cassien, and Carces.

The cities of Nice, Cannes (don't miss the international fireworks competitions!), Monaco, St. Tropez, St. Maxime, Toulon…….

The beaches of Saint Tropez, Frejus-Saint Raphael, Cannes, St.Maxime, also the very beautiful coast east of Toulon, with the seaside resorts of Hyères, Cavalaire and Bormes les Mimosas.

Massif des Maures et ” tous les charmes petits villages du Moyen et Haut Var”.

Lorgues market, Tuesday morning ; Le Luc Friday morning. Sunday markets in Vidauban and Le Muy.

Chateau Sainte Rosaline, Les Arcs sur Argens. Large and well-known vineyard where a good Grand Cru wine is produced there you can taste + buy. Also on the site is a monastery and chapel, where Saint Rosaline is laid out in a glass coffin.
