Montmirail and Ventoux
The Dentelles de Montmirail massif is known for climbing, hiking and its exceptional wines. By bike or on foot, experts or families, find your best routes. Guided tours, art and culture also find their place between two light-hearted outings! Climb or fly above the Giant of Provence. Mont Ventoux is the symbol of Provence. Majestic and sometimes frightening, the “Giant of Provence” fascinates us, 1912 meters above sea level, at the crossroads of the Alpine world and the Mediterranean world.
High-altitude villages
How good it is to stroll through these lively hilltop villages: walk the cobblestones, these famous sloping streets, see the preserved and renovated facades, admire exceptional viewpoints, enjoy a lively square, discover an art gallery or a craft workshop, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the life of the people here... It is a real pleasure to walk there! We don't regret stopping there.
Côte du Rhône wines
A diversity of taste and pleasure in quality wines.
The word “Côtes-du-Rhône” is a name used to describe all wines from the south of the Rhône. The Côtes-du-Rhône appellation refers to production from the two regions of the valley. In the southern zone, that is to say from Avignon to Valence; and in the northern zone, from Valencia to Vienna. The terroir actually includes large vineyards where multiple types of grape varieties occur. Among the latter we find: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Viognier, etc. Red wines are by far the most dominant in Côtes-du-Rhône. That said, white and rosé wines are also popular for their smooth texture and unique flavor. Among the best wines from the Côtes-du-Rhône are the wines of Rasteau and Cairanne, which have fascinating qualities, two irresistibly good wines.
