We are Ilse and Dieter, from Flanders (Belgium) and live in Rasteau, near Vaison-la-Romaine.

In 2022 we started renovating an old olive mill and converted it into 2 spacious holiday 'gîtes' of 85m² each and a studio of 22m². Next to it is the private part where we live ourselves.

Interior

The gîtes have been tastefully renovated for comfort and authenticity. Both have a spacious and cozy lounge, kitchen, toilet, bathroom and 2 bedrooms.
Our gîte 'Mirabel' has a balcony with a beautiful view of 'Les Dentelles de Montmirail', the gîte 'Romain' has more privacy and a little private garden.
You can spend your holiday completely self-sufficient, or make use of our breakfast service.

Surroundings

We are located in Vaucluse (Provence) 8km from Vaison-la-Romaine, known for its ancient Roman amphitheater and sites, its medieval town and also for its weekly market on Tuesdays, the largest in Provence.
From our garden you can walk straight into the vineyards, where the 'Côtes de Rhône' ripens. Of course there are numerous wine tastings in the area.
Our domain of 3500m² offers a view of the 'Dentelles de Montmirail', a climbing, cycling and walking paradise for nature lovers.
Another asset for cyclists is that we are located 17km from Malaucene, at the foot of Mont Ventoux.
And the natural park of the 'Baronnies' is also nearby.
Less than an hour away you will find some highlights from Provence: Fontaine de Vaucluse, Isle sur la Sorgue, Gorges of the Ardèche, Avignon, Nîmes, Uzes (with Haribo museum), La Ferme aux Crocodiles (Pierrelatte), Ocher mine from Rustrel ('The Colorado of Provence'), Orange, Pont du Gard, Séguret,...
