“The ideal place to relax in the silence of the nature of South Ardèche with a view of the river.
Holiday home ‘Villaliba’ is a spacious holiday home consisting of the original house, extended with a completely new part (2023). The existing house offers space for 4 (6) people, (3 separate bedrooms; new box spring beds 160/200). There is 1 bathroom with shower and sink, 1 bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet, a separate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area with fireplace and sitting area. Via the stairs from the living area, you reach a cozy mezzanine.
The new building offers space for 4 people (2 separate bedrooms; new box spring beds 160/200) separate toilet, and bathroom with shower and sink. The house is thereby suitable for a larger group up to 8 (10) people. This also makes the house very suitable for two families who go on vacation together while still having the necessary privacy for everyone. In addition, there are 2 large terraces, one of 29 m² partially covered and one of 28 m² with a retractable awning, both with a beautiful view at the Gorges. Both terraces are equipped with a large table and chairs.
There is a lot of light thanks to the large window at the front, the large (extendable) table in the living area with designer chairs invites you to dine cozily, and the view of the mezzanine makes it warm and cozy. In winter, the fireplace can be used, which immediately adds extra atmosphere in the sitting area with TV.
The living area is adjacent to the open kitchen where all kitchen equipment is provided to prepare a delicious meal. Four bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning which makes it extra pleasant in the summer. From the various terraces, you can enjoy the sun at any time. Outside there is also a fixed barbecue.
From the front garden, a sturdy wooden staircase gives you access to the private swimming pool (8m by 4m). There are sun loungers available for relaxing. There is also a shade sail (4m * 4m) provided.
The house is located in the southernmost part of the Ardèche region surrounded by a lot of greenery, beautiful view in an oasis of tranquility.
Just a 5-minute walk away is Sauze beach where you can enjoy the water, swim, kayak, … There is also a walking path that immediately leads you to the small cozy village of Saint Martin d’Ardèche (25 minutes walk). In the village, there are some local shops like a bakery , butcher, small supermarket, … lots of options to have a drink with a view at the Ardèche, and many delicious restaurants. In summer, there are weekly markets and night markets. The house is located 35 km from Vallon Pont d’Arc, worth spending a day at the pebble beach or starting a kayak descent towards Sauze. There are also numerous beautiful walks nearby, cozy markets, … something for everyone.
