HOUSE VERBERGT

Our holiday home has been in family ownership for over 26 years and is located in the upper hamletLes Sagnesfrom St.Paul-le-Jeune, a pleasant village along the D901, on the border of the Ardèche and Gard departments. The house is within walking distance of the village where all facilities can be found. 

It is an elongated Cévennes house in natural stone on a site of +/- 3000 m2 with a fence, so that privacy is assured. The pool house, covered terrace and swimming pool [4 x 16 m, flat bottom at 140 cm depth] are located in the garden.

On the ground floor are the storage rooms, bicycle shed and a small and large covered garage with a facility for charging an electric car.

On the first floor there is a kitchen, living and sitting room, two bedrooms, bathroom, sanitary facilities, a small and a large terrace with beautiful views, in clear weather you can see Mont Blanc and Mont Ventoux in the distance.

On the second floor there are also two spacious bedrooms, one with a sitting area, both with air conditioning, and a bathroom with sanitary facilities. Also a small terrace with a view.

The house is ideal for a large family, two families with children, as well as for friends or friendly couples. There is a separate entrance to the second floor.

4 to 6 people is ideal, maximum 8.

We rent for a minimum of 7 nights, which can be extended by a desired number of nights. Rental from Saturday to Saturday is not an obligation.

The house is also occupied by the family from time to time out of season for a longer period of time and is therefore equipped with all the comforts, reading material, cookbooks, household utensils and kitchen appliances that make cooking and daily life pleasant.

The interior is simply but tastefully decorated with quality furniture.

The location is excellent in relation to all sporting and outdoor activities such as cycling, walking, swimming, tennis, kayaking, caving, paragliding, golf and mini-golf, karting, quad biking, paintball in the area.

Every day there is a nice market somewhere in the area.

The region has had a true gastronomic revelation in recent years, with plenty of dining options and nice terraces with a varied offering in all price ranges.

Next tonature... culture: Trips to cities [Uzès, Avignon, Nîmes, Arles, even Aix-en-Provence or Montpellier] full of history, culture, music and museums are easily feasible. TheAnselm Kiefer Foundation Eschatonis located barely 18 km, just outside Barjac.
