Flat 1, offers enough space for a large family on the ground floor, with three bedrooms, a bathroom and a spacious renovated kitchen. The terrasses in front and behind the house are where everyone meets up for a drink.

Living the good life is easy here. The swimming pool is behind the house and easily accessible, but it can be closed off if that feels safer. Flat 2 is perfect for a smaller family, with two bedrooms and a separate bathroom. This flat has its own kitchen, dining area and living room, and a private sunny terrace. On warm summer’s evening you look out over the lights in the village in the valley. Here too there is easy access to the swimming pool and sun terrace.

Surrounded by the mountains of the Haut Languedoc:

Canet is a ten hour drive from Brussels (1050 km), in the valley of l’Hérault, surrounded by the mountains of the Haut Languedoc. Canet is situated in the triangle Montpellier, Béziers and Sète. Canet is ideally located: close to both the towns, the beach and the mountains. So you will be coming back for more to enjoy every time.

Every time you’ve been out exploring you come back home to relax by the swimmingpool. 5 kilometers away is the picturesque market town Clermont- L’Hérault. Every Wednesday people gather in the narrow streets of Clermont. People are happy and busy on the market. Fresh figs, lavender, honey and olives of all sorts and sizes are available. The scent of fresh goat’s cheese mingles with the sickly sweet smell of ‘Pur Porc’. The air is fragrant with fresh mint, thyme, rosemary and basil … whatever you decide to cook, be it a delicious stew or a simple stick of Rrench bread with cheese, it’s sure to be mouthwatering. The sports-minded will enjoy the largest surfing lake in France, the Lac Du Salagou. For walkers and cyclists, there are plenty of routes to explore in the area.

The river l’Hérault runs behind the house. Come and enjoy the unspoilt nature, swim amongst the trout and let the young fish nibble your feet. Use the clay from the riverbanks to scrub away your rough skin. The house is close to the village centre, within walking distance of an authentic fresh bakery. The most delicious bread in the region is baked here on a real wood fire.
