La Noisette

La Noisette is a detached house, in the hills between the forests. The house is estimated to be 300 years old. It is modernly furnished while retaining authentic elements. Peace and nature are important features.

La Noisette was previously a farmhouse, which has now been fully restored and comfortably furnished. With 3 bedrooms, the house is suitable for 2 to 6 people.

La Noisette offers optimal privacy. The site is 5000 m2. Silence, tranquility and comfort characterize a holiday in La Noisette. The night starry sky is not polluted by any light source. Roe deer, deer, wild boar, badgers and many species of birds and butterflies can regularly be seen around the house, or during walks in the surrounding woods. There is plenty to do for tourists in the area.

Duvets and various pillows are provided. No duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases, towels or tea towels.

Fireplace wood is available (free).

La Noisette has a large kitchen/diner, cellar, toilet, living room, bathroom and 3 bedrooms, spread over 3 floors.

Kitchen-diner

The large kitchen/diner has a 4-burner hob, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, microwave with convection oven, coffee maker, radio/CD player and Wi-Fi.

Behind the kitchen is a spacious cellar.

Living room

Living room with large sofa and 2 to 4 armchairs. Wi-Fi, television (Flemish and Dutch TV and radio channels), DVD player, radio/CD/record player with USB connection and a telephone.

Wood stove (free wood) with glass door and a system that also blows the warm air into the other rooms of the house. Also underfloor heating in the living room, kitchen and bathroom.

Bathroom

The spacious bathroom has a separate shower, bath and double sink.

Bedrooms

One bedroom has a double bed with 2 mattresses. The two other bedrooms each have 2 single beds.

Two cots, two high chairs and a playpen can be added.

Living outside

La Noisette has two covered terraces.

The front of the house faces south. You can enjoy the sun in the extensive garden or seek the shade. You will also find this on the terrace, under the canopy, which connects to the living room. There is a large table on that terrace, where everyone can sit and enjoy a meal outside.

The terrace near the kitchen also has a covered area and is the place where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun.

There is a permanent BBQ. Garden furniture is amply available.

The Lot department is named after the river 'le Lot', one of the most beautiful rivers in France. It is an attractive holiday spot in all seasons.

The climate is characteristic of the south of France: sun and warmth in summer, mild temperatures in winter. Also in spring and autumn, lots of sun and very pleasant temperatures. The pilgrimage route that runs through the department to Santiago de Compostella in Spain has led to the creation of special towns and villages over the centuries. This makes walking and cycling wonderful activities here.
