Welcome to ' Les Prinquières ' 

Are you overworked, under pressure and tired, do you need a well deserved holiday where peace and relaxation play a central role?  Then we offer you the ideal solution in unspoilt countryside in southern atmosphere!  

Since 5 October 2015 we are the proud owners of this exceptional paradise, a domain of 2.64 hectares: an oasis of greenery surrounded by woods. It was for us as the French say ' coup de foudre ' (love at first sight). 

With us you will stay in a 19th century authentic farmhouse in the beautiful, enchanting village of Fajoles. It is a commune of Gourdon in the département of Lot (46), the Midi-Pyrénées region. The beautiful location has Fajoles due to the Green Valley of the Dordogne and the Lot River, with many prehistoric caves, beautiful castles, impressive gardens and cosy surrounding villages.

Gites la pêche 

The old barn has been converted into 3 gites with preservation of original typical French characteristics, oak beams, stone walls and the known French doors opening onto the terrace. 

To the front there is a terrace with table, chairs and sun umbrella for a romantic breakfast in the morning sun. 

In the evening you can enjoy a barbecue with a local wine during the sunset on the furnished back patio. 

The courtyard overlooks a large grass area surrounded by woods, a small lake adds the final touch. 

'La Pêche' is one of the 3 gites, a charming cottage for 2/6 persons and is themiddle of the barn. 

The fully equipped kitchen includes stove, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, kettle,  dishwasher and washing machine. A drying rack, iron and ironing board are also provided. 

The lounge/dining room is cozy and comfortably furnished and is equipped with a double sofa bed. 

The bedroom on the upper floor has a double bed with bedside tables and bedside lamps, wardrobe. If desired, bunk bed. 

The bathroom with shower, basin and toilet are also located on this floor. 

The shared swimming pool in the garden gives you the apportunity to cool down on hot days and you can play the real French petanque on the boules court. 

The pool of 5x10m is laid out with a terrace to enjoy the sun in comfortable sun loungers.   

 A bar creates a recreation place during the day and pleasant evenings with a drink. 

Over the whole domain is free Wi-Fi. 

Upon arrival, you do not need to make this bed more is waiting for you.

'Les Prinquières' can be found approximately, 10 km from Gourdon, which is the capital of the countryside called the Le Bouriane.    

Gourdon is arranged in tiers around the top of a hill. 

Well worth a visit is Sarlat-La Canéda, this lively, yet unspoiled town has some beautiful buildings and cobbled streets to explore. 

Another popular tourist attraction in France is Rocamadour, and if you visit it you will see why.  It is a spectaculary situated pilgrimage centre clinging to the rock face. 

Domme is set on a steep promontory, and has breathtaking views across the Dordogne and Vézère valleys. 

La Roque Gageac is huddled against a cliff in a dramatick setting.   It is an ancient Riverside village with fascinating architecture, exotic gardens, caves and a troglodyte fort built into the cliff. 

Saint Cirque Lapopie looks down onto the Lot riverfrom its cliff top position.  It features many old houses, which have been perfectly restored by artists an craftsman who were attracted here by the beauty of the area. 

Cahors, the former capital of Quercy, an ideal starting point for tours of the Célé and the Lot valleys.
