Country house "Le Bastidou” is located in Badefols-sur-Dordogne, in the heart of “Le Pays des Bastides en Périgord”. The house with modern comfort, swimming pool, 3 bedrooms, mezzanine and 3 bathrooms, is a true oasis of peace and quiet. Very good location for hiking, cycling, deer-spotting, visit flea and antique markets, discover historical sites, enjoy wine tasting. The house fits 6 to 8 people.

Open living room with dining table 8 to 10 people, lounge area with music installation and large open kitchen, with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Mezzanine with lounge area and TV. Hall with toilet.

Masterbedroom on groundfloor with double bed and en suite bathroom (bath, sink, toilet); two bedrooms on the first floor: 1 large bedroom with double bed and en suite bathrooom (bath, sink, toilet); 1 smaller bedroom with double bed and seperate bathroom (shower, sink, toilet); couch bed for 2 people on mezzanine.

Two terraces: one in front of the house with table for 8 people (gazebo), one behind the house with table for 8 people (large parasol). Heated pool (8/4m), terraces with sunbeds and parasols. Ping pong, badminton, kubb, molky, petanque, 3 bikes, free access to muncipal tennis court.

The house is located 2kms from the river Dordogne, close to the bastide villages Molières, Lalinde and Cadouin (abbey). Excellent location to discover the many assets of the region: the medieval cities Sarlat, Monpazier and Domme, wine tasting in the wine regions Monbazillac, Bergerac, Pécharmant and Rosette. Young knights and damsels will be eager to visit the many castles in the area. You can also discover to pre-historic sites of Les Eyzies and Lascaux, enjoy the culinary delights of the region, or visit beautiful gardens. If you prefer to be active: kayaking on the Dordogne or Vézère, horse riding, golf, cycling. Day trips can bring you for example to Saint Emilion, Cahors or Bordeaux. During the summer there are plenty of antique and flea markets, local festive "tables nocturnes" and festivals.
