The fermette La Planche includes two holiday homes (gîtes)
Our two gîtes were recently awarded a 3-star rating according to the new 2022 classification of furnished tourist accommodation from A TOUT FRANCE
One gîte "L'Escale" with an entrance, a private terrace and enclosed private garden is located at the front of the former barn and the second gîte "Bellevue" is located at the back with a separate entrance, a private terrace and a fenced private garden.
Each gîte can accommodate up to 6 people (3 bedrooms) and possibly a baby.
Furthermore, as a joint accommodation for the 2 gîtes, we have a heated swimming pool (8 x 4 m) with a chlorine-free cleaning method which significantly increases your swimming pleasure.
Around the pool there are 12 deck chairs, a pool shower, a toilet, a summer kitchen, un BBQ, a covered terrace and a family jacuzzi, all surrounded by a 2.5 m high natural stone wall. Behind the pool is a petanque court, a swing and a small fish pond.

Each gîte can accommodate up to 6 people (3 bedrooms) and possibly a baby. There is always a cozy living room with sitting area with a smart TV with digital satellite receiver, a radio-cd-installation and wireless Fiber internet (WIFI) (500 Mbps!). In the dining room / kitchen is a dining area with 6 chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric stove and oven, extractor hood, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, microwave and dishwasher. There are 3 bedrooms in each gîte. In the first bedroom is a (160 x 200) double bed, in the second bedroom there are two single beds (90 x 200). In the 3rd bedroom there is a bunk bed (90 x 200). The 4 beds (90 x 200) have a 1-person duvet and the double bed is equipped with a 2-person duvet. The normal beds are box spring beds with pocket spring mattresses. The bunk beds also have decent pocket spring mattresses. There are 6 pillows available. A cot can be placed on request. You must bring your own bed linen and towels.
The bathrooms have a spacious shower and a wide sink. There is a separate toilet. In the summer kitchen near the pool are a washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron and a vacuum cleaner. You will find cleaning supplies in the storage room of each gîte. Smoking is not allowed in the gîtes.

Our fermette is a fifteen minute drive from the motorway A 71 between ORLEANS and Clermont Ferrand (exit no. 10 MONTLUCON), the distance from Brussels is 652 km, from Utrecht 820 kilometers. The farmhouse is located along a quiet country road at one km from the village HYDS, in the village is a bakery and at 11 km in the town of Commentry we find all shops such as: Aldi, Lidl, Carrefour Market and Intermarché.
The region is a quiet, green, hilly, wooded and wetland area with countless churches and castles. In the surrounding villages you will find the original French rural life. Our gîtes are for rent for families who love peace, relaxation, silence and space. Our fermette is an ideal place to relax and enjoy.
