L'Amande is a romantic and charming detached gîte on the small-scale domain La Basse Maza, beautifully situated on a hill with a phenomenal view over the Ardèche. This holiday home exudes the typical French atmosphere, combined with contemporary comfort, and is ideal for couples or families who want to enjoy peace, nature and panoramic views.
The house is located in a quiet place with lots of privacy, surrounded by fruit trees and greenery. Thanks to the multiple terraces and the unique location, you can enjoy both sun and shade here, with a beautiful view over the mountains and valleys of the Ardèche.
L'Amande has a spacious living-dining kitchen with dining area, fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, standard coffee maker, kettle, mixer and a Senseo. The living-dining kitchen connects directly to the partly tiled outdoor terrace and is equipped with garden furniture, parasol and sun beds. An electric BBQ completes the picture. The terrace offers complete privacy through a green fence (fruit trees - hedera and a lockable gate.
On the ground floor there is a bathroom and two bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed (140x200 cm) and the other bedroom with a bunk bed (190x200 cm). All beds have single duvets, pillows and moltons.
On the top floor there is a cozy living room with a sitting area, wood stove and TV-DVD (including Dutch channels - canal digital). Adjacent to the living room you reach a beautiful roof terrace with a panoramic view of the mountains.
The interior combines rustic elements with modern comfort. and outside you have two spacious terraces with garden furniture and sunbeds, ideal for enjoying the sun and the view in complete privacy.
La Basse Maza is located in the heart of the Ardèche, a region known for its unspoilt nature, chestnut forests, rivers and quiet villages. The immediate area is ideal for walking, cycling and experiencing nature.
Within walking distance you reach the river La Glueyre, where there are natural swimming spots and beaches. In the area you will find charming villages, local markets and typical French restaurants. The combination of peace, nature and culture makes this location particularly suitable for a relaxing holiday in the south of France.
