Mas de Fontbonne was designed by a Parisian architect in the 1970s as a family residence.
A house with history and character, which we share today with groups who are looking for the same thing: peace, space and togetherness. Terracotta floors, thick stone walls that keep out the summer heat, own works of art on the walls.
A well-equipped kitchen, two planchas outside, two refrigerators and a freezer, everything to cook with the whole group and sit at the table for a long time, without rushing.
The Mas has the luxury of space: several terraces, corners and places to relax. A covered dining terrace on the first floor, with the long table and views over the valley. A cool cave for an aperitif in the shade. An inner courtyard with olive tree and petanque court. The heated saltwater swimming pool, surrounded by sun loungers. Two ping-pong tables for those who want to exercise. An upper terrace where you can fully enjoy the view.
Everyone will find their own corner.
On a private domain of 2 hectares in Joyeuse, without neighbors in sight. Vallon Pont d'Arc, the Gorges de l'Ardèche and Les Vans about twenty minutes away.
Beautiful hiking trails and mountain bike trails nearby.
Joyeuse and Lablachère are a few minutes from the house where you can easily do some shopping.
The Joyeuse market on Wednesdays is a well-known market in the area. You can even go there on foot (half an hour's walk).
Groups of friends meeting again, families celebrating a birthday or anniversary: many wonderful memories have already been built in our Mas.
The house has 7 bedrooms spread over several levels: 4 rooms with a double bed, 1 room with 2 single beds, 1 single room and 1 room with 2 bunk beds. There are 4 bathrooms, each with a toilet: 2 with shower and sink with a separate toilet, 1 with shower, sink and toilet, and 1 large bathroom with bath, double sink and toilet.
The kitchen is well equipped for large groups. The spacious living room invites you to get together after a long day outside.

The holiday home is located in Joyeuse, a charming village in the Ardèche, one of the most beautiful regions of southern France. This region is known for its impressive nature, sunny climate and authentic atmosphere.
In the area you will find picturesque villages, local markets and numerous activities such as hiking, cycling and canoeing. The Ardèche is also popular for its beautiful landscapes, rivers and famous sights such as the Gorges de l'Ardèche.
You can also enjoy the French lifestyle with cozy terraces, regional specialties and delicious wines. This region is ideal for both an active holiday and pure relaxation in a beautiful natural environment.
