A spacious gite on a former wine estate close to the beautiful city of Carcassonne. A long driveway ensures that it is quiet and safe.

Ideal stay for 1 or 2 families with children. Private domain on 2.5 hectares with 4 gites and a large communal swimming pool, garden and playground.

Behind the house there is a private garden (200 m²) with its own terrace. Next to the house is a large open private barn, accessible directly from the holiday home and contains an 'open kitchen' and can also be used as a parking space. The beautiful view is all around, between vineyards and sunflower fields.

Internet and WiFi are available (via Fiber). A TV with good reception ensures that you can follow all sporting activities (Tour de France, World Cup football,...). The house is equipped with every comfort: dishwasher, washing machine, large oven, microwave, large refrigerator with freezer, Weber BBQ, Kamado BBQ and decent comfort beds.

Sheets are included (Towels can be rented (7 euros/pers)).

Electricity and water are included in high season. An allowance will be requested for abnormal consumption.  In low season electricity is not included.

Final cleaning is mandatory and payable separately (75 euros).

Downstairs there is also a storage room (with washing machine) and separate toilet.

On the first floor there are two spacious rooms: the master room with double bed has its own bathroom. Then there is a separate bathroom with corner bath and shower. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a built-in wardrobe.

There are also 2 spacious bedrooms on the second floor. A bedroom with 2 single beds and a bedroom with a double bed.

There is also a cot and high chair available.

The Aude is located in the Languedoc and borders the Mediterranean Sea. With its very varied nature, this region exudes tranquility and offers numerous possibilities: from coast to mountains, culture and nature!

This region is perhaps best known for its history around the Cathars.

Another eye-catcher is the Canal Du Midi, a few kilometers away. Here you can take a boat trip or rent a bicycle, walk and enjoy the rolling landscape.

Historic castles, picturesque villages and wine estates abound. Many well-marked walks and bike rides in the nearby area.

Various water sports in the area (kayak, canoe, rafting,...). Mountain tours in the Pyrenees are 60 minutes away, as are the beach and sea, also 60 minutes away ... but on the other hand :-).

The domain is easily accessible. It is located about 4 km from exit 22 on the A61. Carcassonne (Ryanair) at 17 km, Toulouse (SN Brussels and KLM) at 88 km. Perpignan at 135 km.
