Beautiful villa in the Lot in the heart of the Malbec wine region and close to a beautiful medieval village

Beautiful holiday villa in the south of France.

Villa Rêvelot is located in the Lot, in the wonderful Malbec wine region, not far from Cahors. Very quietly located in an almost residential area, at the highest point in the region, yet close to the beautiful medieval town of Puy L' Evêque.

Restaurants, shops, bakery, everything can be found within a short distance (walking distance). The villa can accommodate up to 6 people and is very tastefully decorated. It has all possible facilities and is fully equipped.

Next to the house there is also a spacious lawn with a private jeu de boules court. 200m behind the house, the Lot river meanders its way through countless vineyards. The town of Puy L'Evêque competes with Saint-Cirq-Lapopie for the title of most beautiful town on the Lot. It is wonderful to stroll through the narrow streets of the old part, often with very beautiful views.

There are several good restaurants, ranging from bib gourmands to even star establishments. There is, among other things, a Flemish wine grower nearby, who has various wines with various awards.

Anyone who really wants to relax will find something to their liking here. at night you hear nothing here and it is also very quiet during the day. If 5 cars pass by in our street per day, that is a lot because it is not a continuous street. Yet you are certainly not in the middle of nowhere because the village of Puy L'Eveque is within walking distance, so all amenities are nearby.

We have tried to put our heart and soul into this house and left nothing to chance to embellish it every time. 

The house is ideal for 2 small families, because there is a bathroom and a toilet on each floor.

It has 4 bedrooms, 3 x double bed + 1 x children's room with 3 single beds.

Furthermore, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, 2 TVs with TV Flanders. Furthermore, a spacious living room, separate seating area with Godin wood stove, equipped kitchen, laundry room, mezzanine and garage. Everything is in a basement and it houses a real man cave with an authentic Irish bar, pool table and darts block. There are also 4 decent bicycles available in the basement, including mountain bikes and an electric women's bicycle. There is a rear terrace with pergola and a front terrace with beautiful views of the heated swimming pool and the beautiful surroundings. So there is always sun or shade somewhere.

You can cycle nicely along the Lot river on an old train track, but experienced cyclists will also find something to their liking uphill as much as they want, because once you leave the Lot valley it goes steeply uphill. An ideal short trip (10 km) is to Belaye, a village with a breathtaking view over the Lot valley or along the banks of the Lot to Fumel (20 km)

The area also has a lot to offer, the castle of Bonaguil, Domme, Sarlat, Albi, Cahors, the pilgrimage site of Rocamadour, Penne d'Agenais, Padirac caves... It is also not far from Kurt's B&B (B&B seeks sweet), so close to the Lot-et-Garonne, which is also called the Tuscany of France.  I have listed on my website  more than 100 sights within a radius of 100km. Too many to mention, amusement parks, water parks, steam train, carting circuit, canoeing on Lot and the Dordogne, beautiful villages, etc......
