Villa Mimosa

Villa Mimosa is a very comfortable detached holiday home in the 4-star holiday park“Les Rives de l'Ardèche” in Vallon Pont d'Arc. This villa is located at the highest point of the park (no view) as the last house in a dead-end road. This means there is no passing traffic. Peace and privacy guaranteed! Here you can enjoy a beautiful and wide view of the mountains.

There is parking for two cars in the shade under the carport.

The holiday domain is located on the banks of the Ardèche. As a guest of Villa Mimosa, you can enjoy all the facilities that this park has to offer for free: the large (350m2) swimming pool with separate toddler area, the tennis courts, the basketball and football field, the petanque courts, table tennis, outdoor fitness, and a playground for the little ones. There are plenty of sunbeds and parasols around the pool. On the cozy covered terrace at the reception and next to the swimming pool you can enjoy a drink (soft drinks, beer, wine, etc.), an ice cream or a snack. At the (Dutch-speaking) reception you can order bread, pizza, fries or book canoe trips or other outdoor activities.

You rent directly from the owner. Personal contact between tenant and landlord is always recommended.

Arrival day is in principle on Friday or Sunday (to avoid busy traffic and traffic jams on Saturday), but the owner also offers the option of arriving on any weekday.

Minimum length of stay: 1 week or

7 nights. You can also rent for a period of, for example, 10, 12 days/nights.

Villa Mimosa is very comfortable and fully furnished. You have WIFI, AIR CONDITIONING, TV Flanders, CD/DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 refrigerators, electric barbecue, oven and microwave, coffee maker and Senseo machine. A baby cot and a high chair are available.

The garden (fenced) is tastefully landscaped with many flowers, ornamental shrubs and artificial grass. At the front of the house there is a cozy pergola where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun. For enthusiasts: there is a private petanque court next to the house. You have sufficient garden furniture on the shaded terrace and sun beds in the garden.

The house has a spacious living room with open kitchen. Through the sliding window you enter the covered terrace from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains.

Via the stairs in the living room you reach the three bedrooms, each with a 1.60m bed with two separate mattresses. Each bedroom has AIR CONDITIONING. In addition, there is the bathroom with bath/shower and sink. There is a toilet downstairs and one on the first floor. 

In the living room you will find Dutch books, board games, all kinds of tourist brochures and information about the area and the most important sights.

The Ardèche is especially known and loved for its beautiful nature, the ancient villages, the charming markets, the delicious food and wine...

No shortage of sights! So you can find the 36,000 year old“Grotte Chauvet”(UNESCO World Heritage) as well as the numerous other caves in the area. It is certainly also knownPont d'Arc, the beautifulGorges de l'Ardèche, the numerous picturesque villages such as: Vallon Pont d'Arc, Balazuc, Vogüe, Ruoms, Joyeuse, Les Vans, Barjac, ... Less than five kilometers from the villa there are many shops, restaurants, terraces, interesting museums, a crocodile farm, etc. 

Moreover, sports enthusiasts will certainly get their money's worth in this region (kayaking on the Ardèche or the Chassezac, numerous hiking trails, outdoor activity park, the Ruoms parade, mountain climbing, caving, swimming in the river, horse riding, etc., etc.).
