Eco Lodge Le Barradis is a beautiful Manor house built entirely by a craftsman in a garden of no less than 4000 m2 near the village of Hautefort, in the north of the Dordogne. The Eco Lodge consists of a very beautiful main house with natural materials (9 ps) and a trendy, loft style separate bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The shower is built in an old wine barrel! In total, 11 people can have a wonderfully peaceful holiday here! Everything breathes love for the region. This beautiful Lodge is surrounded by the beautiful rolling nature of the Dordogne.
The beautiful new, heated pool is completely fenced and offers all possibilities to relax. Do you want to take a rest then you can do so in one of the many hammocks in the covered veranda. In the immediate vicinity you can make fantastic walks, the village of Hautefort (you can see the castle from your bedroom) is only 3.5 km away! Here are several restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery and a pharmacy. Especially for you the owner supplies you with two bycicles, so that you can pick up your bread in the morning!

The very large house is suitable for 11 people plus baby. In the main house are 4 beautiful spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms, there is a very cozy living room with large fireplace and plenty of relaxation chairs, a nice kitchen and a separate dining room! You have a very large covered area where you can eat together, play a game or relax, at the end of this covered area is the 5th bedroom with en-suite bathroom (super nice!)
Outside :
From the covered area you reach the heated swimming pool with a very large terrace. There are enough sun loungers, seats and enough parasols. You can close the pool in the evening so that the water stays nice and warm!
Large fully enclosed garden with various seating areas, terrace with table and chairs and many romantic corners. Large lawn so that you can play football to your heart's content (or other outdoor sports of course).
Culture lovers, sports enthusiasts and peace seekers will find plenty to enjoy here.
Walking and cycling, strolling on local markets, visiting exhibitions or music festivals, enjoying street theater, village festivals. Opera, canoeing, running or mountain biking, anything is possible. Or would you prefer to pay a visit to a museum, a center for modern art or attend a concert? You have plenty of choice for a varied holiday.
It was delicious and even though the weather became less halfway through the week, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and could sit under the canopy all evenings.

We greatly enjoyed the pleasant stay, the beautiful house and beautiful surroundings. Hostess Anne-Claire also made sure that we felt welcome and if problems arose this was solved as quickly as possible. Our dog was also allowed to come along and she also enjoyed it immensely. June is a pleasant month to stay in Le Barradis. The neighbor is extremely friendly. We actually only lived outside in the two weeks we were there, the covered porch and the pool are wonderful. The shower in the guest house is heavenly! The comfort in the guest house might be a tip for the house, air conditioning and screens or shutters on the windows provide the necessary cooling. A bit of sustainability could also be made possible. There are a huge number of lamps in the house, but many are still halogen. Replacing it with LED could be a good solution. Also a lot more kid-friendly. The night lights are a favorite with small children and the danger was that they would burn themselves on the night lights. There is no shortage of inventory in the house, which is really super good for each other and present in large numbers. The hammocks on the veranda are also very nice and a good addition. All in all had a very nice holiday in a nice house!
The house has been very well renovated and is well equipped with household appliances.

We used the bbq every day and enjoyed the garden and pool. The pool is large and you can lie there so nicely. A lot of privacy also in this house and we found that very pleasant.
What a space everywhere and also in the house many rooms and the living room is huge. The extra lounge seat next to the veranda was also great. We had our favorite series with us and were able to connect it to the TV.
We thought it was a special location and would go again. This year it was fully booked and we have booked another house with you. Already looking forward to
