It was in the year 2000 that the Aqua-Gîte adventure started, when a family of renovators bought a beautiful farm with the idea of giving it a second life. This old building, typical and full of charm, is located in a very small town called Barbeyroux, Salignac-Eyvigues, Dordogne.
Located on the border of the Causse de Martel and the forested slopes of the Perigord, our village will be a passage of the Quercy, Limousin and the Perigord Noir through the centuries. It is in the respect of the regional architecture that we have undertaken this project of transformation of a timeless place with multiple influences.
"La Douce France" gets its full meaning here thanks to ingrédients such as the mild climate, the abundant nature, a bewildering culture, beautiful architecture An enchanted gastronomy & breathtaking wines ..., but especially the peace! There is a friendly & hospitable atmosphere in our area!
Today we are proud to have found this historical place and that it has now been retained in a warm atmosphere. For us, this holiday home is both a symbol of travel and coming home. And it is with pleasure that we share our love for this paradise with all our visitors: holidaymakers who are looking for nature, peace and moments of happiness.
