Villa Les Cigales

This villa is located on the edge of the village of Villeseque des Corbieres on the Pech Redon ridge.

This picturesque southern French village in the heart of Corbieres is located in the triangle Perpignan-Narbonne-Carcasonne at the foot of the Pyrenees, just 20 km from the Mediterranean Sea with Leucate as a surfing paradise.

The villa is located on its own fenced property of 5000 m2.

The house consists of:

- entrance via winter veranda with seating area

- entrance hall with guest toilet

- large living room with fully equipped open kitchen

- pleasant sitting area with fireplace, TV with satellite dish for TV Flanders reception,

- radio and CD

- bedroom 1: double bed (180 cm wide)

- bedroom 2: 2 x 1 bed

- bathroom 1: sink, walk-in shower, toilet

- sofa bed in living room: 2 persons

On the side of the house there is a separate entrance via a pergola to:

- bedroom 3: 2 x 1 bed

- bedroom 4: 1 x double bed

- bathroom 2: sink, shower, toilet

There is a shaded seating and dining area under the pergola with a grape tree.

For a wonderful siesta you can use a hammock under the grapevine.

A tennis table is available for the sports enthusiasts among you.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a veranda with washing machine, extra refrigerator, dryer and storage box for garden cushions.

Through the living room you have access to a large terrace with a view of the beautiful heated swimming pool (11m x 6m). On this terrace there is ample seating and dining facilities and a summer kitchen equipped with a gas BBQ. From here you have a unique view of the valley with vineyards on the surrounding hills. In the distance you can see the Pyrenees with the Col de Canigou (2,750 m).

Around the swimming pool and the terrace there is a beautifully landscaped garden with atmospheric evening lighting and sunbeds for wonderful sunbathing. The swimming pool is shallow at the front and goes very slowly to deep with a diving well and is therefore accessible to both non- and experienced swimmers. In accordance with French legislation, this swimming pool is equipped with an electronic alarm system to protect infants and toddlers. The swimming pool is also equipped with beautiful underwater lighting so that swimming on warm summer evenings has a special romantic touch.

The swimming pool is heated from April to September.

The villa has central heating and features:

Pleasant detail: the gardener comes at least 3 times a week to maintain the garden and swimming pool so that the quality of the bathing water is always maintained. This gardener lives in the village.

In the village there is a grocer, a tavern-restaurant, a hotel-restaurant and a wine chateau. Barely 3 km (Durban) there is a supermarket, pharmacist, doctor's office, bank, tennis, garage.

Pets are allowed under certain circumstances and people are requested to smoke outdoors out of respect for holidaymakers who come after you.
