Cozy detached holiday home

The house is located on the territory of the small village of Payrignac, +/- 3 km from the center of Payrignac.

Because the house is located on a completely enclosed property, you have the necessary privacy. In addition to the house, there is a large play barn and a swimming pool of 5m by 11m.

In the vicinity, approximately 4 km away, is the medieval town of Gourdon. In Gourdon you will find some nice restaurants and you can do your shopping in various supermarkets.

When you enter the house you immediately enter the kitchen, which can also be regarded as a living space. To the right of this room is a bedroom for 2 people with a double bed 160 cm and a private bathroom (shower, sink and toilet).

To the left you enter a living room with television and DVD player. You can also use the stairs to the 1st floor from here. There is a small storage space under the stairs.

On the 1st floor you have 2 more bedrooms. A room with a double bed 160 cm and a bedroom with 4 single beds, of which 1 bed is an underbed. You also have a 2nd bathroom (shower, sink and toilet).

A high chair, a park and a small table with two chairs can be found on the ground floor.

You can also go to the terrace with garden via the ground floor. On the left of the terrace there is a door that leads to a 3rd bathroom (shower, toilet and sink).

In the garden there is a swimming pool of 11 meters by 5 meters and a shower. There is also a large play barn with all kinds of games. Ping-pong, pool table, darts and kicker.

There is also a music system, a refrigerator, a washing up sink and a bar with some bar stools in the play barn.

There are garden furniture, parasols and sun loungers available.

There is also a petanque area.

For the little ones there is a swing and a climbing frame with a slide.

Smoking is not allowed inside the house. Animals are not allowed.

The house is not rented to student groups.

For safety and insurance reasons, charging the electric car via the home network is not possible.      

At 2 km from the house you can visit the caves of Cougnac with their murals.

The most beautiful sights are located nearby at +/- 30 to 45 km. These are Sarlat-La-Caneda, Rocamadour, Saint-Cyrq-Lapopie, Collonges-La-Rouge (a village entirely in red stone), La Roque-Gageac, Beynac-et-Cazenac, Cahors and the Gouffre de Padirac. There are also several impressive castles and other caves with murals, such as the magnificent caves of Pech Merle in Cabrerets.

The region is also best known for its foie gras, duck farms and delicious nut wine.

You can find these regional specialties at the many markets such as in Souillac or Sarlat.

But smaller towns and villages are also worth a visit, such as Monpazier, Domme, Puy l'Evêque with its small alleys, beautiful squares with nice restaurants and drinking establishments.

On a sporting level, you can enjoy yourself by bike or canoe. There is bicycle or canoe rental in many places, you can follow the many walking routes or you can go fishing in the nearby fishing pond (Gourdon) or sunbathe at the Gourdon swimming pond.

There are also various attractions for children, such as the Gouffre de Padirac, the many castles, but also the dinosaur park, a steam train and the monkey forest near Rocamadour. Moreover, during the summer period you have many nice markets and all kinds of fun festivities
