Welcome to our charming villa BonToul in the South of France.

A magnificent holiday villa in Casteljau. A dream location with a Mediterranean climate in the south of the Ardèche, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.

From the terrace, you can enjoy views of the valley and the Gorges. Swimming and canoeing in the river are just a 10-minute walk away. Peace and beautiful nature in a tourist area. Idyllic villages are within easy reach.

BonToul is a comfortable and spaciously furnished holiday home for 2-10 people. The villa features four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and three toilets, two of which are separate. Beautifully situated with a unique view. With a glass of wine in hand on one of the comfortable seating areas, you'll feel like heaven in France.

The villa is spacious (total area 170 m²) with 6,000 m² of private grounds. The layout of the villa makes BonToul intimate for two and ideal for larger groups.

Each floor has all the amenities. At the rear of the villa, you can also book a separate double bedroom with its own shower and toilet. This makes the villa suitable for 10 people.

Living room:

Upstairs, a spacious and inviting living room with large, comfortable sofas, a generous dining area, and a stylish seating area by French doors leading to the terrace. A flat-screen TV with Dutch satellite channels and a DVD player are featured.

Downstairs, a second, fully furnished living room, also with a flat-screen TV.

Kitchen:

Upstairs, a very cozy kitchen/diner with a view of the valley. It is equipped with a wide range of cookware, an oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer.

Downstairs, a second fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, is open to the second living room.

Bedrooms:

Beautiful, spacious bedrooms with double Auping beds.

A double bedroom is upstairs.

A double and a triple bedroom are downstairs.

The fourth downstairs bedroom is completely independent at the rear of the house. This double bedroom has its own shower and toilet.

Bathrooms: Upstairs and downstairs, a luxurious bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower.

In addition, the separate downstairs bedroom has its own third bathroom with toilet.

Toilets: Two separate toilets.

Balcony: On the first floor, there is a large balcony/terrace, which can be covered with a generous awning.

Amenities: Washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, high chair, crib, Wi-Fi, dishwasher

In the southern Ardèche, in a stunning location in Casteljau (municipality of Berrias & Casteljau), stands our stylish holiday villa, BonToul. Where the nightingale sings while wildlife roams.

Those who visited the house wondered how we found such a unique spot. Wonderfully peaceful, yet nestled in a highly touristy area.

A 15-minute walk through the woods behind our house and past the vineyards brings you to the Chassezac River. This tributary of the Ardèche boasts beautiful gorges perfect for swimming, fishing, and canoeing. It's bustling with activity during the peak season, as guests from the campsites along the river also enjoy the various beaches.

Casteljau is located approximately 10 km from Les Vans, one of the villages in the immediate vicinity vying for the title of "most beautiful in the country" (Trotter travel guide).

The well-known tourist attractions of Vallon Pont d'Arc and Ruoms are just 20 minutes away. Picturesque towns and villages like Joyeuse, Labeaume, Largentiere, Vogue, Naves, and Balazuc complete the holiday experience.

A little further afield, the larger towns of Aubenas, Nimes, Avignon, and Uzès are well worth a visit.

The Mediterranean Sea (Camargue) is within an hour and a half.
