Gîte Le Pigeonnier du Pradet with private pool

A *pigeonnier* is a traditional local outbuilding; historically, pigeons were kept in the upper section, while grain was often stored below. Until the French Revolution, only the nobility were permitted to own a *pigeonnier*, and it long remained a symbol of status.
We have converted our *pigeonnier* into a pleasant, comfortable holiday home (*gîte*) while preserving its authentic character.
We have been affiliated with "Gîtes de France" for years, which means our property undergoes regular quality inspections.
We live right next to the *gîte*, yet your privacy is fully guaranteed. There is a private external entrance with parking, and the *pigeonnier* is situated behind our house.

The *pigeonnier* features a cozy living room with a kitchenette and direct access to the terrace.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher.
There is a color TV (French channels and free-to-air satellite channels).
There are two bedrooms: one upstairs with two single beds (90 x 200) and one downstairs with a double bed (160 x 200); both rooms have space for an additional mattress or cot if needed.
A washing machine is located in the bathroom.
The shaded terrace is furnished and includes a barbecue.
From the terrace, you also have a view of the secluded, fenced swimming pool
(10 x 5 meters; 1.40m deep, flat bottom). The property is set on a large plot (1 hectare) where guests can also make use of a swing set, a treehouse, and a sheltered area in the barn featuring a ping-pong table and table football.
Pets are welcome.
Your bed will be made upon arrival.
Fiber-optic Wi-Fi internet access is available.

De Pigeonnier is situated within the triangle formed by the medieval towns of Cordes, Najac, and St. Antonin-Noble-Val, in the Aveyron valley (the river is 150 meters away) amidst a truly beautiful, varied landscape of rolling hills (featuring a geological fault line).
Here, you will find peace, space, and privacy.
The immediate area offers everything that makes Southern France so

- shopping and strolling through medieval towns such as Cordes, Najac, Penne, and St. Antonin
- Albi, the "Red City" associated with Toulouse-Lautrec,
